Reading is the main way for people to obtain information,is the soul of human progress,for a country,the level of national reading is related to the country’s innovation and development,and in reading activities,college students are the most representative,their current reading behavior has a great impact on the development of future society[1].With the continuous expansion of the scale of higher education in China,vocational education has become the focus of education reform,according to the 2021 national education statistics,there are3,012 colleges and universities(including 256 adult colleges and universities)in China,and a total of 2,756 unified enrollment colleges,among these institutions,there are 1238 ordinary undergraduate schools;32 vocational schools at the undergraduate level;1486 higher vocational colleges(vocational colleges)are classified according to ordinary colleges and vocational colleges,ordinary colleges and universities account for 45%of the total number of colleges and universities,and vocational colleges and universities account for 55%,which shows that college students of vocational colleges and universities have become the main reading group of colleges and universities,and studying their reading behavior has far-reaching significance for the study of reading behavior theory.Based on the above background,this paper reviews the relevant literature at home and abroad by literature survey method and statistical analysis method to understand the methods and current situation of this research field.The theory and concept of reading behavior are sorted out,and the basic research direction and research content of this research are clarified.Taking Qingzhen Vocational Education City,Guiyang City,Guizhou Province,where the author’s school is located,as an example to study the reading behavior of students in vocational colleges,the influencing factor model of reading behavior of students in vocational colleges and universities was constructed on the basis of the UTAUT model,and five independent variables of performance expectation,effort expectation,community influence,convenience conditions,and perceived pleasure were extracted according to the characteristics of students in vocational colleges,and at the same time,according to the pre-survey results,the moderating variable of"student source type"was innovatively proposed,with reading willingness as the mediating variable and reading behavior as the dependent variable.Therefore,eight hypothetical relationships are proposed,and the questionnaire survey method is used to conduct a sample survey of students in Qingzhen Vocational Education City Higher Vocational College,and the data collected by the questionnaire survey is analyzed through SPSS26.0 software,and the two types of students are compared and analyzed through data analysis,and the hypothesis is verified one by one,so as to verify that the influencing factor model of students’reading behavior in higher vocational colleges is established,and targeted suggestions and countermeasures are put forward for the reading behavior of higher vocational colleges according to the conclusions obtained.
