The world is entering a period of rapid development in the digital economy,and a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is profoundly affecting the operation of the economy and society.The national "14th Five Year Plan" clearly proposes to accelerate digital development,build a digital China,and accelerate the digital transformation of financial institutions.The new round of financial technology revolution,represented by big data,artificial intelligence,blockchain,cloud computing,5G,and mobile internet,overlaps with the reform and development of the securities industry,elevating the application of digital transformation and financial technology in office collaboration mode to the strategic level of companies.More and more enterprises are adopting distributed office mode.This office model can eliminate geographical limitations,allowing employees to work from home or anywhere through the internet and software.In addition,the distributed office model can reduce the coupling between systems,improve the flexibility and efficiency of enterprises,and thereby reduce operational costs.This article explores the advantages and challenges of using distributed office models in private equity fund companies from the perspective of self-organization theory.Taking Y Company’s business department as an example,it studies the practical problems encountered by private equity fund companies in implementing distributed office models,such as "chaotic processes,inefficient collaboration,and reduced employee motivation".To address these issues,Y Company has designed and implemented a series of measures,such as building an open self-organizing office environment,flattening the organizational structure,decoupling business processes,and introducing self-developed office collaboration software tools.The aim is to open up organizational boundaries,improve employees’ self-management abilities,and shift the company’s operations from being driven by departmental job responsibilities to being driven by project business.Through research,we can conclude that by adopting a distributed office model,Y Company can improve its flexibility and efficiency,reduce operating costs,meet the needs of investment clients,reduce fundraising costs,and improve its profitability and competitiveness.In the future,private equity fund companies can actively explore and apply distributed office models to improve the profitability and competitiveness of enterprises.The research in this article has important practical significance for private equity fund companies to implement distributed office models,and can provide guidance and reference for private equity fund companies to implement distributed office models.
