Plog is a new form of media expression,it is a combination of graphic and text to record daily life, with a low threshold, life, fragmentation characteristics, with the help of star effect in the past two years quickly popular.Since there is currently less research on the influencing factors of Ploggers’ self-presentation behavior, this paper takes this as the starting point and adopts the questionnaire survey method as the main method and the interview method as a supplement. It is found that in the part of the stage,Plog has three characteristics: the virtuality of the stage, the weak dramatic nature of the content presentation and the dynamic bolder of the stage. In the self-presentation part of the frontstage, the study found that six kinds of presentation behaviors, such as idealized self-presentation and real self-presentation,are more likely to occur in Ploggers, among which idealized self-presentation and ability presentation are the most likely to occur. In the preparation part of the backstage, the study found that creators are most likely to show themselves for the intrinsic motivation of recording life and entertainment, but the direct impact on self-presentation behavior is social motivation rather than personal motivation, social motivation will drive the displacement of user identity. After analyzing the differences of demographic variables and self-presentation behavior,we found that gender, age, income and education all have a significant impact on the self-presentation behavior of creators.Through the specific analysis of the above, this paper finds that there are five problems in the Plog industry, they are two-sided influence of stage characteristics on self-presentation,the identity displacement of creators driven by social motivation, the cognitive bias I brought about in the fog,the aesthetic homogenization under the invasion of capital, and the selective self-presentation promoted by imaginary audiences. In view of the above problems, this paper puts forward suggestions for improvement.
