| During the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020,China Telecom and Central Video APP jointly launched the slow live broadcast of "24 Hours of Epidemic",and the 24-hour uninterrupted construction of Vulcan Mountain and Thunder God Mountain hospital attracted the attention of the whole people,forming a phenomenal media event of "cloud supervision".Under the situation that the epidemic situation in COVID-19 has never changed in a hundred years,it is necessary to have the consensus and value recognition of the whole society,whether it is to fight the epidemic or to achieve two hundred-year goals.The slow broadcast of "24 Hours of Epidemic" shows the characteristics of empathy communication,which plays an active and positive guiding role in the diversified social media public opinion field,greatly appeases people’s anxiety and panic in public health emergencies,maintains social stability,and achieves a win-win situation in news communication,public opinion guidance and social benefits.From the perspective of empathy theory,this paper takes the slow live broadcast of CCTV video "24 Hours of Epidemic" as the research object,and uses the methods of literature analysis,case analysis and participatory observation to study the effect of empathy communication in slow live broadcast.The full text consists of five chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the research background,related research summary,research purpose and significance,research methods and innovations.The second chapter mainly expounds the theoretical connotation,development motivation and its special features compared with traditional live broadcast.The third chapter takes the slow live broadcast of 24 Hours of Epidemic as the research object,and mainly expounds the empathy theory and its application in the study of slow live broadcast,because slow live broadcast emphasizes emotional resonance and realistic communication.The fourth chapter analyzes the audience’s psychology and behavior of slow live broadcast,such as the audience’s expectation,participation and interactive behavior,so as to better understand the attraction and influence of slow live broadcast on the audience.The fifth chapter expounds the existing problems of slow live broadcast and puts forward relevant optimization strategies.In just a few years,slow live broadcast has become popular and mature in China.The rapid development inevitably brings about problems such as the lack of high-quality content,the shift of audience focus and the limitation of technical level.However,it cannot be denied that slow live broadcast plays a cohesive role in emotion and consensus in major emergencies,and empathy communication can make news reports resonate with the audience better.This paper hopes to provide some reference for the empathy strategy of the main streaming media in slow live broadcast through reflection and analysis of the above problems. |
