With the continuous development of economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the pursuit of culture of our people has become increasingly rich.Media companies are one of the representatives of the cultural industry.The products of media companies are mostly based on the creativity and imagination of employees,which has laid a certain foundation for the development of China’s media industry.However,in the process of actual development,many media companies will face many challenges,such as low stability of employees and high turnover rate of employees.Therefore,it is urgent to study the salary system of media companies.Under this background,this paper chooses LC Media Company as the case study object to optimize its salary system.This paper first defines the concepts of salary and salary system based on the literature research method,and expounds the demand level theory,broadband salary theory,salary theory,incentive theory,etc;Secondly,it combs the basic situation,organizational structure and human resources of LC Company through field research,and summarizes the current situation of the compensation system of LC Media Co.,Ltd.from four aspects: post category,salary structure,performance structure and compensation strategy;Then,through questionnaire survey,it is concluded that the compensation system of LC Media Co.,Ltd.has problems such as unreasonable salary grade,irregular salary management,nonuniform salary structure,and weak competitiveness of salary level.It is analyzed that the causes of these problems are unscientific salary design,low performance management level,not paying attention to salary management,and insufficient salary budget;After that,it determined the ideas and principles of LC Media Company’s salary system optimization,formulated specific salary system optimization plans for management posts,acquisition and editing posts,operation posts and support posts,and also formulated a set of general incentive plans;Finally,the safeguard measures are formulated from the aspects of management,system and culture,and personnel skills.The research of this paper has formulated a plan for the optimization of the compensation system of LC Media Company,laid a foundation for controlling the employee turnover rate of LC Company and improving the enthusiasm of employees,and also provided a reference for the formulation of the compensation system of other similar companies.
