Research On Public Participation In The Archival Document Compilation In The Network Age

The arrival of the network age provides a new opportunity for the public to participate in archival document compilation,pushes the power of public participation to a new height,gives the public a greater right to speak,and promotes the public participation in archival document compilation.In the network age,the characteristics of public participation in archival document compilation are mainly reflected in three aspects:the union of participants,the diversification of participation forms and the diversification of participation contents.Guiding the public to participate in the compilation of archival documents through the network by archival institutions can not only improve work efficiency and reduce human,financial and material resources,but also improve public awareness of archives and arouse public attention to archival work.At present,the existing problems of public participation can be summarized as follows: the function of website participation is not perfect;the willingness and attitude of public participation do not match;the capacity of public participation is not enough;and the incentive mechanism of public participation is not perfect.According to the actual situation of our country,we can put forward the optimization strategy of our country’s public participation in archival document compilation in the network age from three aspects.First of all,in terms of participation platform,we should strengthen the function of participation in compilation,enhance public experience,enrich the content and form of compilation resources,and increase public interest in participation.Secondly,in terms of the participants,we should change the traditional concept of archivists and raise the degree of public attention;attach importance to the guidance of public archival awareness to stimulate the potential of the public;and strengthen the training of public professional skills to enhance the confidence of participation.Finally,in the participation system,we should standardize the relevant laws and regulations,promote the orderly participation of the public,improve the incentive mechanism of public participation,and maintain the enthusiasm of participation.
