| The rapid development of network technology has made the traditional media face unprecedented challenges.Short videos,with its popular content consumption,scene interaction and open social networking and other features,have become an important form of communication in the process of reformation of traditional media and improvement of the communication matrix.As the short video platform with the largest number of users,Tik Tok has become an important platform for mainstream media to transform to short video.How to complete the information transmission in a shorter time,what information is the information that the audience is willing to accept,how to establish these information,that is,how to better choose the narrative theme,narrative plot,narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative language to better achieve the communication effect,all these the problems that need to be solved and broken through in short video transmission.The official Tik Tok of Sichuan Radio and Television Group "Sichuan Observation",has over 40 million followers,and was once commented by CCTV News that “Sichuan Observation” is now more popular than itself",which shows the influence of "Sichuan Observation" in the same type of media.Therefore,this paper takes "Sichuan Observation" as the research object and uses the methods of text analysis,case study and interview to analyze the narrative characteristics and rules of"Sichuan Observation" short video,and traces the reasons why the Tik Tok number of"Sichuan Observation" is popular with users,in order to provide reference for the transformation of provincial mainstream media into short video.Using the theoretical framework of narratology,this study found that the Tiktok of "Sichuan Observation" shows the following characteristics at the narrative story level: the narrative plot is non-linear,and presents the characteristics of refinement and fragmentation;the narrative theme is warm and grounding;and in terms of narrative structure is a honeycomb structure that can be easily presented in a short time.On the other hand,the results of our analysis of the narrative discourse for "Sichuan Observation" show the following characteristics: the personification of the narrative subject,the emotion of the narrative language,and the focus of the narrative to achieve the function of guiding public opinion under a multidimensional narrative perspective.In conclude,"Sichuan Observation" has formed a narrative mode and style in line with short video transmission through continuous integration and metamorphosis.Based on the narrative analysis of “Sichuan Observation”,this study proposes strategies for continuous coverage of hot events,production of news video collections,optimization of professional teams,and innovation of picture forms to solve the common dilemma of short video narration. |
