| In recent years,with the development of Internet economy and the rise of online consumption,"homebody economy" and "lazy economy" are gradually emerging,and people’s consumption mode is gradually transitioning to online purchase,thus promoting the development of express delivery industry,leading to the gradual increase in the burden of sorting and distribution of express delivery.After continuous development,D Company has developed into a competitive Courier enterprise.It has continuously built its own sorting center for independent operation,aiming at better and faster delivery and transfer.However,with the increasing number of express delivery,the task of sorting and distribution becomes heavier,and the operation efficiency of the sorting center of D Company is gradually decreasing,which cannot meet the Courier sorting activities in the peak period.Faced with the problem of reduced sorting efficiency,this paper took the layout of the internal functional areas of the sorting center of D Company as the starting point,and improved the sorting efficiency of the sorting center of D Company by effectively and scientifically optimizing the layout of functional areas.Through the field investigation of D company’s sorting center,the development status of D company’s sorting center in the layout of functional areas is analyzed,and it is found that the layout of the existing functional areas is linear,but also found that there are many problems in the linear layout,such as the small area of some functional areas,the delivery circulation is not smooth and other problems.Then through the literature sorting and research,the SLP method is mainly used to solve the problems existing in the layout of the sorting center of D company.After that,simulation software is used for modeling and comparative analysis to verify the feasibility of the new scheme.Firstly,the basic elements of D company’s sorting center are analyzed.Secondly,the logistics and non-logistics interrelations between functional areas are analyzed and studied,and the comprehensive interrelations between functional areas and their placement sequence and position are determined.Finally,combined with the actual situation of the sorting center,determine the new layout scheme,and design a new layout scheme for the U-shaped layout.After determining the new layout scheme,the Anylogic simulation software was used to establish the simulation flow chart of the old and new schemes,and the data were obtained by setting different parameters to run the model.The new scheme was compared and analyzed with relevant data to verify the feasibility of the new scheme.The research direction of this paper is to use SLP method to design the new functional area layout scheme of D company’s sorting center,and use simulation software as an auxiliary tool to verify the new scheme.The u-shaped layout of the new scheme makes each functional area closer.While expanding the area of each functional area,it also shortens the distance between each functional area,reducing the time spent on the handling path,thus improving the overall sorting efficiency of the sorting center and speeding up the circulation of express delivery.The study on the layout optimization of D company’s sorting center provides some reference for other enterprises in sorting center layout,and has certain reference value for the same type of sorting center layout. |
