Indirect material procurement management is an indispensable link in enterprise material procurement.With the continuous changes in the environment of the hygiene products and equipment production industry,hygiene products and equipment manufacturers have gradually become clear about the importance of indirect material procurement management.To achieve the control of the total production cost,establish a scientific indirect material management concept,and improve management efficiency.This paper takes Wuxi J Equipment Co.,Ltd.as the main research object.First,on the premise of understanding the relevant concepts and theories of indirect material procurement management,through the investigation and sorting of various data and measures in the indirect material procurement management of Wuxi J Equipment Co.,Ltd.,Understand the problems of J Equipment Company in indirect material procurement management that the company does not pay much attention to indirect material procurement,the demand approval process is not rigorous enough,the supplier management efficiency is low,and the procurement price comparison process is not perfect.Insufficient awareness of material procurement management,lack of corresponding cost control awareness,coupled with the pressure of industry competition,enterprises focus more on equipment sales,ignoring the management of indirect material procurement.Secondly,through the analysis of the indirect material procurement management problems of Wuxi J Equipment Company,a targeted optimization plan for indirect material procurement management is proposed.Combined,special personnel regularly review and reflect on indirect material procurement,and at the same time,clarify the importance of indirect material procurement demand assessment,scientifically select suppliers according to equipment production needs,and classify the company’s current primary and secondary suppliers.management,implement supplier performance appraisal,and strengthen the competitive pressure among suppliers.Based on BPR theory,the indirect material procurement process of Wuxi J Equipment Co.,Ltd.is optimized,the PR budget supplement special approval process is simplified,the PR and PO review and approval links are scientifically designed,the procurement time is shortened,and the electronic online bidding system is introduced to realize the optimal selection of suppliers..In addition,the objective of Wuxi J Equipment Company’s indirect material procurement management optimization plan is further clarified,the focus of indirect material procurement work is determined,and the supervision issues of procurement process optimization are implemented.Based on ASME analysis method,the reengineering plan of Wuxi J Equipment Company’s indirect material procurement process is carried out.The expected effect is evaluated,and it is concluded that under the reengineering plan,J Equipment Company’s indirect material procurement time is shortened,and the non-value-added activities are reduced under the condition that the value-added activities remain unchanged,which effectively reduces the total cost of enterprise operation.Finally,in order to ensure the implementation of the optimization strategy of indirect material procurement management of Wuxi J Equipment Company,a special indirect material procurement management team was established within the enterprise to reorganize the organizational structure of the indirect material procurement team.The diversified financing channels provide strong financial support for indirect material procurement,improve the related system of indirect material procurement,and thus improve the management level of indirect material procurement in the enterprise.
