China’s construction enterprises have been steadily and continuously increasing their contracted project business volume year by year,but most of the construction projects have not adopted Chinese engineering construction standards,that is,the degree of internationalization of Chinese standards is not commensurate with China’s economic aggregate and its status as a major country.Based on the symbiosis theory,the systems engineering theory,the stakeholder theory and the value chain theory,and supported by the Matlab matrix computing technology,this paper studies the factors that influence the internationalization of Chinese engineering construction standards,establishes a multilevel hierarchical structure model of DEMATEL—ISM to clarify the path of factors influencing the internationalization of Chinese engineering construction standards.Taking the factors influencing the internationalization of Chinese engineering construction standards as the research object,the author mainly completes the following research work:(1)In this paper,the literature identification method is used to preliminarily identify the influencing factors of the internationalization of China’s engineering construction standards,and a total of 40 influencing factors are identified.Through the expert interview method,the factors were modified,including merger,improvement and reasonable deletion.Finally,33 influencing factors were determined.(2)In this paper,the ABC classification method is used to rank the importance of 33 influencing factors.A total of 25 factors of class A and class B are selected to build the follow-up model,while class C factors are no longer included in the follow-up model.On the one hand,it can simplify the number of factors to improve the quality of the model.On the other hand,it can avoid the situation that the threshold makes class C factors in an independent position in the system,which is conducive to model analysis and interpretation.(3)This paper establishes a DEMATEL — ISM multi-level model to define four systematic paths for the internationalization of China’s engineering construction standards: the path of the substantive level of China’s standards,the path of the competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the international engineering market,the path of the comprehensive environmental impact of the project country and the path of the standard impact of developed countries,and analyzes them in combination with the driving forces and dependencies of various factors.On the basis of the four systematic paths,six key influencing factors and two key influencing paths are explored,which are the standard promotion path with relevant departments as the main body and industry organizations as the auxiliary,and the standard promotion path with construction enterprises as the main body and engineering projects as the carrier.The research shows that no matter how to promote Chinese standards,improving the progressiveness of standards is the fundamental driving force to promote the internationalization of Chinese standards.
