A Study On The Current Situation,Challenges,and Enhancement Strategies Of China-Senegal Economic And Trade Development In The Context Of The “Belt And Road" Initiative

In recent years,the friendly relations between China and African countries have continued to develop.Among them,economic,political and social exchanges have been deepened.The "Belt and Road" initiative has strongly promoted the establishment of comprehensive,mutually beneficial and high-level cooperation between China and African countries.As a natural extension of the Belt and Road Initiative,the construction of the China-Africa FTA is considered an important agenda for bilateral trade and economic relations between China and African countries,and on January 1,2021,the China-Mauritius FTA was officially implemented,the first FTA signed between China and an African country.In this context,as an important country in the comprehensive strategic partnership,the economic and trade relations between Senegal and China have also entered a new phase.Therefore,exploring how China and Senegal can establish a new type of mutually beneficial economic and trade relations is beneficial for improving the understanding of international relations,especially economic relations.The purpose of this study is to analyze the current situation of economic cooperation between China and Senegal and how to find a new model that better suits the interests of both countries within the framework of the existing economic integration and in the context of the "Belt and Road" initiative.Specifically,this study is going to analyze the current economic and trade situation,challenges faced by the two countries and propose corresponding strategies under the theoretical framework of trade agreements.In terms of research methodology,this paper adopts a qualitative approach to analyze economic impacts and challenges of the current economic and trade cooperation relationship between the two countries through available data and facts,with the aim of proposing strategies that are more suitable for the development of the economic and trade relations between the two countries.This study is mainly divided into six parts.The introduction introduces the background and significance of the topic,research methods,literature review,innovation and shortcomings.The first chapter analyzes the related concepts and theoretical basis.Chapter II provides an overview of the current bilateral economic relations between China and Senegal.Then,the third chapter is the key content of this study,which analyzes the reality and potential of trade cooperation between China and Serbia under the background of "Belt and Road".Chapter IV of the trade relationship and the impact of various areas to improve the relationship to propose specific strategies.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,which puts forward the prospect of the development of China-Senegal economic and trade relations in the context of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
