| Industry is an important influencing factor in the process of urban-rural integration.Industrial agglomeration can enhance the competitiveness and development potential of industries, and is an important way to promote regional urban-rural integration.Since the reform and opening up,advantageous industries have arisen in various provinces in China, gradually forming the current situation of industrial agglomeration. However, the development of a region should not only consolidate the pillar industries, but also take other industries into account properly. Therefore,it is very important to analyze the clustering of different industries in different regions of China. This paper analyzes the influence mechanism of industrial agglomeration on urban-rural integration from the perspective of industrial agglomeration. The results show that there are obvious differences in the development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industrial agglomeration areas at provincial level, and the regional differences are significant. It is found that the development of provincial urban-rural integration has a positive trend, and there are significant regional differences. Finally, based on the provincial panel data of China from 2008 to 2019,the spatial Dubin model(SDM)is constructed to analyze the impact of industrial agglomeration on urban-rural integration development. The following conclusions are drawn: The spatial spillover effect of three industrial agglomeration on urban-rural integration development is significantly positive; In terms of overall effect, primary industry agglomeration has no significant effect on urban-rural integration. The agglomeration of the second and third industries can promote the development of urban-rural integration, and the agglomeration of the third industry has the greatest promoting effect on urban-rural integration.Due to the significant regional differences in industrial agglomeration and urban-rural integration in China, further sub-regional research shows that the agglomeration of secondary and tertiary industries plays a significant role in promoting urban-rural integration in western China. The agglomeration of primary industry plays a significant role in promoting the central region. The effect of industrial agglomeration on eastern China is not obvious.Based on the above research, the following policy suggestions are put forward:The primary industry plays a pivotal role in the central region compared with other regions. In view of the promoting role of the primary industry in the integration of urban and rural areas,it is proposed to guide the development of the rural primary industry to the secondary and tertiary industries and improve the agricultural modernization development and resource utilization level;According to the significant regional differences between industrial agglomeration and urban and rural integrated development,it is proposed to implement differentiated and diversified industrial policies. The agglomeration level of the tertiary industry has the greatest influence on the urban-rural integration development. It is proposed that the agglomeration and allocation of resources of the tertiary industry should be the core to construct the urban-rural integration pattern. Finally,it points out that we should optimize industrial structure and promote industrial transformation and upgrading. |
