Research On The International Competitiveness Of Lao Rubber Product

With the deepening of industrialization and the continuous development of the global economy,automobiles,ships,equipment seals,mechanical sensing belts and other rapidly developing industrial products need to use a large number of rubber,Thailand,Laos,Indonesia,Vietnam and other countries are the main producers of natural rubber in Asia.In these countries,Thailand and India than Laos national comprehensive strength of the country is a bit strong,on the strength of the rubber export also has a certain competitive advantage,Laos countries want to in the fierce competition in the international market to improve the export competitiveness of rubber industry,you need to clearly know the location of Laos country in the international market,competitors,competitive advantage and competitive disadvantage,And according to these problems to formulate a reasonable development plan.This study is divided into five aspects.First,the development status of the rubber industry in Laos is analyzed to understand the development capacity of the rubber industry in Laos.Secondly,it analyzes the status quo of import and export trade of Lao countries in the international market,and understands the existing export and import capacity of Lao countries.Thirdly,select international market share,trade competition index and indicative comparative advantage index to measure the international competitiveness of Laos national rubber industry.Fourthly,the advantages and disadvantages of the rubber industry in Laos are analyzed.Finally,suggestions are put forward to improve the competitiveness of the rubber industry in Laos.Through a series of calculations,this paper draws the following conclusions: The competitiveness of the rubber industry of Laos ranks fifth in the international market,and the top four are mainly Thailand,Indonesia,Vietnam and Malaysia.Meanwhile,the competitiveness of the rubber industry of Laos is on the rise in the international market.The main competitors of Laos are Malaysia and Vietnam.Overall Laos national rubber industry is Laos national export industries,has stronger international competitiveness,in the future developing trend has continued to enhance,at the same time,this paper also analysis the Lao national rubber industry and lower cost,government policy support and so on development advantages,and low level of industrialization,low production and the development of a single product structure.Based on these conclusions,this paper puts forward some suggestions for optimization and improvement.
