Coupling Relationship Between Professional Market And Industrial Cluster

The specialized market is an economic phenomenon that is booming along with China’s reform and opening up,which has greatly promoted the development of local economy.As a typical sample of economies of scale,industrial clusters play an important role in reducing transaction costs,accelerating imitation learning and technological innovation.The coupling development of specialized markets and industrial clusters has become a unique economic phenomenon in many regions of China.Most of the existing studies only confirm the coupling relationship between the two from the aspect of scale,less consider the development quality factor,and can not fully comply with the transformation of the current economic situation.Taking Yiwu,the capital of small commodities,as an example,this study comprehensively measures the coupling relationship between specialized markets and industrial clusters.First of all,on the basis of expounding the research background and significance,combined with relevant academic research results at home and abroad,this study summarizes the coupling mechanism between professional markets and industrial clusters.Professional markets can promote the scale expansion,technological innovation and cost reduction of industrial clusters,and industrial clusters can promote the scale expansion of professional markets and the improvement of business efficiency.Secondly,combined with the coupling mechanism,the index system of the development level of professional market and industrial cluster is established,and the development profile of Yiwu professional market and industrial cluster is combed.Based on the relevant data of Yiwu City from 2006 to 2020,the coupling relationship between the two is quantitatively studied by using typical correlation analysis,stepwise regression analysis and coupling coordination model.The results show that: first,the professional market and industrial cluster interact with each other.The industrial cluster has a greater impact on the professional market.The development scale and operation efficiency of the professional market are related to the scientific and technological level of the industrial cluster;Second,the scientific and technological level of industrial clusters is positively affected by the turnover of unit stalls,while the development scale and operating efficiency of specialized markets are positively affected by the output value rate of new products and the growth rate of total industrial output value;Third,the coordinated development level of Yiwu Small Commodity City and small commodity industrial cluster has increased rapidly,but it is still in the stage of slight imbalance.For a single industrial cluster,it is ranked from high to low according to the level of coordinated development as paper industry cluster,clothing industry cluster,sports,industry and entertainment manufacturing industry cluster,leather industry cluster,textile industry cluster and printing industry cluster.Finally,according to the research results,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the coordinated development of Yiwu professional market and industrial clusters: accelerating market upgrading and improving business efficiency;Accelerate the construction of e-commerce platforms and strengthen the e-commerce skills training of merchants;Strengthen policy guidance and speed up technological innovation;Strengthen information exchange and build a collaborative logistics center;Strengthen regional brand marketing and improve brand awareness.
