New-type urbanization is a huge engine to ensure the sustainable and healthy growth of national economy and a necessary way to realize the development of socialist modernization. In the context of the current major contradictions in society and development, the new process of urbanization is advancing with the times and its connotation is being enriched continuously.Anhui Province is now in the key stage of overall well-off,actively building "five beautiful Anhui",and it is also the key stage of China’s urbanization from "outward expansion" to "internal upgrading".For the first time, the 13 th Five-Year Plan has clearly defined the new development ideas with innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing as the core. Therefore, based on the background of high-quality development, understanding the development status of new urbanization in Anhui Province is of great significance to help promote the development of new urbanization towards a high-quality level.Based on the requirements of the times for high-quality development in Anhui Province,a development evaluation index system has been established from five dimensions: innovative development drives the integration of industry and city, coordinates development to promote urban and rural co-ordination,green development improves urban ecology, opens the market of development and reform factors, and shared development shows livability.Firstly, the Entropytopsis model is used to measure the comprehensive level of new urbanization development and the development level of various factors in Anhui Province, and the topsis close value obtained by comprehensive evaluation is used to further analyze and understand the development situation from the perspective of time and space.Secondly, the Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition model is used to analyze the unbalanced causes of the development of new urbanization, and the specific sources of differences and their contribution rates are found. Finally, the UDIT theory is applied to calculate the urban information distance between each region and the central city and find out the specific difference distance. The results show that:(1)Through the analysis of Entropy-topsis model,it can be seen that on the whole, the level of new urbanization in local cities varies greatly, and the development of new urbanization in Anhui Province has obvious "cascading effect".Hefei has an overall value of 0.716,followed by Wuhu with a value of 0.462,which ranks second. In terms of dimensions,Hefei ranks fifth to last in green ecological development, but is still far ahead in innovation and openness, with a value of 0.9 or more.(2)Through the analysis of the Dagum Gini Coefficient decomposition model,it can be seen that the reason for the uncoordinated development level of new urbanization in Anhui Province during the sample period is mainly due to the large differences between regions, and the differences within the region and the degree of influence of super variable density are similar.(3)The UDIT model analysis shows that the nearest city is Wuhu with the distance value of 0.367 and the farthest city is Suzhou with the distance value of 0.491,while the average level is 0.444,taking the best developed city Hefei as the central city. Finally, based on the analysis conclusions, this thesis believes that measures can be formulated from four major aspects, such as enriching the connotation of the urbanization of the population, actively building a new type of city, accelerating the integration and development between rural areas and towns, and optimizing the layout and form of urbanization,so that the new urbanization in Anhui Province can move forward in a high-quality direction.
