Research On The Influence Of Digital Economy On Industrial Structure Optimization And Upgrading

At present,China’s economy is in a critical period of transformation from big to strong,and faces many difficulties.The international environment is increasingly complex,China’s economic growth rate is slowing down,and the impact of COVID-19 on the economy has led to increased uncertainty,which requires the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure as soon as possible.This emerging digital economy forms on the basis of digital technology,data of factors of production as the main factors of production,has a wide coverage,strong innovative,characteristic of increasing marginal benefit,permeability is strong,can effective to transform traditional industries,emerging industries,push to benefits to our country’s industry chain,industry,product,system optimization and quality.Therefore,in the process of industrial structure optimization and upgrading,it is of great significance to explore the role of digital economy in building the advantage of national competitive development and the construction of modern economic system in the new development pattern.This thesis mainly studies the role of digital economy in the process of industrial structure optimization and upgrading,its path,nonlinear effect and heterogeneity effect,the status quo and problems of digital economy and industrial structure,and makes empirical analysis of different cities in China in recent years to verify the theoretical hypothesis proposed.Finally,according to the results of current situation analysis and empirical analysis,policy suggestions are put forward.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:1.This thesis theoretically analyzes the function mechanism of digital economy on the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,and takes "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" as the entry point to analyze the function path of digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure: First,digital economy itself can promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.Digital economy provides new technologies and new production factors for traditional industries,blurring the boundaries of industries and promoting the integration of industries.It will improve the upgrading of the demand-side forced industrial structure,further transform traditional industries,Improve the use efficiency of production factors and total factor productivity;.Second,digital economy promotes the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure through innovation.Digital economy expands the breadth and depth of innovation,improves the efficiency of innovation,and reduces the cost of innovation.Innovation accelerates the reform of the old and brings forth the new,improves the use efficiency of production factors,opens up new fields and promotes the advanced and rationalization of industrial structure;Third,digital economy promotes the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure through entrepreneurship.Digital economy improves the environment for entrepreneurship,increases the opportunities for entrepreneurship and reduces the cost of entrepreneurship.Entrepreneurship is conducive to resource allocation,reducing information asymmetry,promoting high-tech industrial agglomeration through demonstration effect and knowledge spillover,and helping industrial structure optimization and upgrading.2.Analyze the current situation of China’s digital economy and industrial structure,and discuss the problems existing in the development of China’s digital economy and the challenges facing the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,Combined with empirical evidence,we can better study the industrial structure and the development of digital economy,better grasp the relationship between them,and then put forward targeted suggestions.The findings: For the digital economy,digital economy in China from 2015 to2020 the overall positive,the digital economy scale and proportion gradually increase output,digital industrialization scale ratio of digital economy increase gradually,but at the same time,China’s digital economy imbalance of regional development,digital resources concentrated in the eastern region and central city,and from a global perspective,The proportion of China’s digital economy in total output is low,and the penetration rate of the three industries is low.For industrial structure,our country tertiary industry output value proportion and employment proportion of the tertiary industry gradually increase,which means that positive service industry development in our country,the three industries and I gradually reduce the deviation,the overall industrial structure deviation degree of concentration,means that our country gradually toward the rationalization of industrial structure,however,the industry development of our country still faces many challenges: The complex situation of international industrial competition,prominent security problems in China’s supply chain and industrial chain,shortage of core technologies and low supply quality mean that there is still a long way to go to optimize and upgrade China’s industrial structure.3.The panel data model is established to verify the influence of digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of China’s industrial structure,and explore its nonlinear effect,heterogeneity effect,and spatial spillover effect.The results confirm the hypothesis of theoretical analysis: firstly,the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure is positively influenced by digital economy,and can indirectly promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure by promoting innovation and entrepreneurship;Secondly,this effect is characterized by diminishing marginal contribution,but it will increase with the increase of innovation and entrepreneurship activities.Thirdly,the effect of regional heterogeneity was found to be strongest in central China,followed by northeast China,and weakest in western China.According to the heterogeneity analysis of central cities and peripheral cities,it is found that the optimization of industrial structure in peripheral cities is more likely to be promoted by digital economy,while in central cities this effect is not obvious,and even has the opposite effect.Finally,in order to verify whether the spatial spillover effect exists in the industrial structure adjustment effect of digital economy,this thesis uses the spatial Dubin model for empirical analysis.The results show that:(1)the industrial structure has the characteristics of spatial agglomeration;(2)Digital economy not only has a positive impact on the industrial structure of the region,but also the regions with similar economic development level or spatial distance will be affected by the adjustment of the industrial structure of digital economy.
