Research On The Development Of Characteristic Agriculture In Mengjin Country,Henan Province

"People take food as their heaven",agricultural development has been an important issue related to the national economy and people’s livelihood since ancient times.Our party has always attached great importance to the importance of agricultural development.Especially since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has always been very concerned about the "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" issues,and has always emphasized that solving the "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" issues should be taken as a priority for the whole party.The top priority of the work is to take poverty alleviation as a landmark project for building a well-off society in an all-round way,and launch a rural revitalization strategy,emphasizing that the improvement of the comprehensive ability of agricultural production should be placed in an important position.my country has a vast territory and is rich in agricultural resources.In different regions,agricultural products with local characteristics have been formed.Therefore,effectively promoting the development of local characteristic agriculture and continuously improving the comprehensive production capacity of local characteristic agriculture can not only promote the improvement of the local agricultural production level and increase the income of farmers,but also an effective way to realize modern agriculture and improve the modernization development level of agricultural production.As a major agricultural province in my country,Henan Province’s total grain output has been rising year after year,the supply capacity of crop seeds accounts for one-tenth of the country’s,and the indicators of animal husbandry are also leading in the country.The development of agricultural production in Henan Province can be said to be closely related to the national agricultural production.When General Secretary Xi Jinping was inspecting Henan,he made a sincere exhortation to Henan,instructing Henan to maintain its advantages in grain production and not to lose the trump card.Mengjin County(now Mengjin District)in Luoyang City,Henan Province is located in the central and western parts of Henan Province.The main terrain is hilly and mountainous,and it is located at the junction of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.It has unique conditions for agricultural production and planting.In addition,Mengjin District is located at the junction of Luoyang,Jiaozuo and Jiyuan,with convenient transportation conditions,which brings convenience to the development of characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County.The Mengjin County Government has also strengthened its support for characteristic agriculture and processing of characteristic agricultural products,and vigorously supported the development of local characteristic agriculture-related industries.This paper also focuses on the development of characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County as the research object,trying to sort out the development of local characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County,study the main characteristics of Mengjin County in the development of characteristic agriculture,and analyze the current development of characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County.problems,and put forward corresponding reference suggestions.In the development of characteristic agriculture,Mengjin County has formed Mengjin Gongmi represented by "Mengjin Rice" in the planting industry,and formed Mengjin Gongli represented by "Mengjin Pear" in the fruit and vegetable industry.Mengjin tribute fish represented by "Yellow River carp".In addition,Mengjin pears,Mengjin watermelons,Mengjin grapes,and Mengjin Yellow River carp have also been identified as agricultural products with national geographical indications.On this basis,Mengjin County,relying on the advantages of characteristic agricultural development,actively develops the integration of agriculture and tourism,and creates the tourism brand "Let’s Play in Mengjin",attracting a large number of tourists to Mengjin and enhancing the popularity of Mengjin.On the whole,the development of characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County has begun to take shape and the development trend is good.However,it is also found in the research that the characteristic agriculture of Mengjin County still has problems such as low level of agricultural product development,insufficient application level of agricultural production technology,low brand effect,and low quality of farmers.These problems also hinder the development of characteristic agriculture in Mengjin County.Further high-quality and healthy development.Therefore,in order to solve these problems,this paper believes that Mengjin County should continuously optimize the industrial structure,enhance the added value of agricultural products,and improve the overall level of agricultural development.It is necessary to continuously improve the level of agricultural science and technology,adopt new technologies,optimize agricultural production technology and facilities,and consolidate the foundation for the development of characteristic agriculture.The local agricultural production brand in Mengjin County should be continuously strengthened,quality inspection standards should be established,and the quality of agricultural products should be improved.Technical training for agricultural producers should be strengthened to improve their agricultural knowledge and agricultural production level,and combined with the corresponding talent introduction policy,to attract high-quality talents to Mengjin and stay in Mengjin,and jointly promote the sustainable development of Mengjin County’s characteristic agriculture.
