Research On International News Information Flow Network Under The Topic Of China’s High-speed Railway Overseas Project

In recent years,with China’s "One Belt,One Road" initiative,China’s high-speed railway has gradually stepped out of the country and become a tool of the Belt and Road.As an important foreign construction project of China’s "One Belt,One Road" and a typical representative of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry,China’s high-speed railway is highly discussed by the international community,and also has the important task of promoting "Made in China" to foreign countries.It is particularly important to examine the international communication on this basis.Therefore,this study takes the overseas coverage of China’s high-speed railway as the object of study,combines the social network analysis method to construct and analyze the communication network structure of international media,and tries to examine the news flow relationship among the communication subjects behind it,so as to draw a picture of the communication network of China’s overseas high-speed railway issue in the international media,and thus reveal the problems of China’s media in participating in international communication in the international news flow network under the high-speed railway issue This will reveal the problems of China’s media in participating in international communication in the international news flow network under the issue of high-speed railway,and also provide some references for improving China’s international communication ability and promoting China’s high-speed railway going abroad.This study takes the overseas project reports of China’s high-speed railway as the research object,uses news flow theory and world system theory,combines social network analysis to construct and analyze the network structure of relevant communication subjects,uses network density,network distance and clustering coefficient,cohesive subgroups and core-edge model,centrality and other parameters to analyze this network structure,from which the key influencers active in it are discovered,and then reveals the problems in the international communication of China’s high-speed railway issue from the The study finds that there are problems in the international communication of China’s high-speed railway issues in terms of the location of the network structure of the main actors and their relationships.The study finds that the overall network of international news and information flow on the construction of China’s high-speed railway projects overseas has a loose and low cohesion structure,in which there are small group structures and core-marginal structures,and new changes are gradually created in the news flow;Western European and American countries still monopolize the hegemony of the discourse,but Asian countries show their independence;China has gradually left its marginal position to the center of the world,and as a secondary China has gradually moved away from its marginal position to the center of the world,and as a secondary subject in the media,its network position is distributed in a hierarchical manner and gradually reveals its own discursive power.
