With the increasing development of our society and economy,the problem of population aging is becoming more and more prominent.Rural areas,as the vast grass-roots areas in my country,have been influenced by economy,customs and traditional concepts for a long time,and there are many problems in the development of institutional elderly care with elderly care institutions as the carrier.At the same time,rural areas are the foundation of my country’s social development,and the construction and development of the elderly care business is of great importance,directly related to the well-being of the people and social stability,and the research is of great significance.This paper takes the current situation of institutional pension in rural areas of L City as the starting point,and based on the analysis of the current situation and the discussion of problems,it is hoped that reasonable and practical development suggestions will be put forward to promote and improve the overall level of institutional pension in rural areas.Using the multiple welfare theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory as tools,the research comprehensively analyzes the rural areas of L City through questionnaires and interviews on the premise of expounding the social and economic development level and aging of L City,and the overall situation of rural pension institutions.The current situation of institutional elderly care,and then examine the existing problems and their causes,so as to discuss the development strategy of local rural institutional elderly care.On the whole,in institutional elderly care in rural areas,the needs of the elderly are very diverse,including health needs,social needs,basic living needs and many other aspects.This is the same for any elderly living in an elderly care institution.It is also affected by factors such as economic income level,consumption concept,traditional concept,etc.This is the uniqueness of the elderly in elderly care institutions in rural areas.It can be said that the elderly in institutional care in rural areas have both commonality and uniqueness.As far as L City is concerned,there are three problems in the current rural institutional elderly care service personnel,service content and service method.On the one hand,the local rural elderly care institutions have unprofessional personnel,insufficient management experience and level,imperfect management systems,low overall investment and irregular operations;It is a mere formality,the service is too basic,and it is difficult to meet the multiple physical,psychological and spiritual needs of the elderly.Therefore,to promote the development of institutional elderly care in rural areas,it is necessary to take elderly care institutions as the core.While promoting the management level and service experience of elderly care institutions,it is more important to pay attention to the actual needs of the elderly,so as to realize the realization of the elderly with care and the elderly.Relying on,old and happy.
