The medical device industry is an important foundation for the medical service system and the maintenance of national health.It is also an important support for the realization of "Healthy China" and "chronic disease management" proposed in the"Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline.The size of my country’s population brings huge demand for medical resources.The medical device industry has broad market prospects,but at the same time,it also attracts more and more companies with technical and financial strength to enter the industry,resulting in an increasingly complex and fierce market competition environment.With the increase of residents’income brought by my country’s economic development,the revolutionary innovation of medical device products brought about by science and technology,as well as the society’s emphasis on health and the increasingly serious trend of population aging,the market increasingly needs intelligent medical care that meets individual needs for disease prevention Products,there are new development opportunities in some segments of the traditional medical device industry.This paper selects LX Company as the research object of strategic reform,and studies how typical medical device companies can implement strategic reform by grasping the opportunities of external environment and internal competitive advantages when facing changes in the external environment that seriously threaten the company’s original strategy,so as to improve profitability and obtain potential benefits.Sustained competitive advantage to maintain market position.This paper first expounds the relevant theories used in the strategic change research,and then introduces the basic situation of LX,the research object of this paper,as well as the company’s original strategy and business development model;Analyze the macro environment,industrial environment and internal environment,identify the industry development opportunities of LX company,the degree of competition in the industrial environment and the core capabilities possessed by the company,and use the identified internal and external environment factors in the SWOT analysis tool,Find the path and method of LX Company’s strategic transformation plan;finally,evaluate the effectiveness of LX Company’s strategic transformation through comparative analysis of key financial data before and after the strategic transformation.Through the research,this paper draws three conclusions.First,the interaction between the external environment and the internal environment jointly promotes the strategic change of LX Company;second,the external environment and the internal core competence of LX Company jointly determine the design of the strategic reform plan of LX Company.Thirdly,LX Company implemented strategic reform by grasping the internal and external environment,formulated correct operation measures,improved and enhanced the overall performance of the company and achieved the goal of reform.The research object LX company selected in this paper,its assets and business scale have a certain market position in the industry,and have a certain industry representative significance.It has certain reference and reference significance for improving the application of strategic change theory in practice and other companies of the same type in the medical device industry for strategic change.
