Research On The Development Strategy Of CITIC Securities Asset Management Business Under The Background Of New Regulations On Asset Management

With the rapid growth of China’s economic volume and the accumulation of residents’ wealth,financial institutions have achieved high operating income when carrying out asset management business,and their business types and exhibits allocation are constantly enriched,but at the same time,there are also more industry chaos.Therefore,in April 2018,the central bank issued "about the standard financial institutions asset management business guidance",the change of regulatory rules brought huge influence to the industry,information technology new rules for the huge asset management market health pointed out the development direction,and provides the institutional guarantee,is conducive to the healthy and sustainable development of asset management business in our country.At the same time,the brokerage asset management business also after clear direction to speed up the pace of transformation,actively explore differentiation development strategy,from the promotion product research ability and brand influence to strengthen innovation,realize the company asset management product performance,to attract more investors,expand the size of the market,improve the competitiveness of the company,finally achieved rapid development.Based on the background of the implementation of the new asset management regulations,this paper studies the development strategy of the asset management business of CITIC Securities.The article first introduces the general situation of CITIC Securities,analyzes the overall operating situation of CITIC Securities,and introduces the operating situation of the asset management business and the performance of the asset management products in detail.Secondly,in order to use QSPM matrix analysis to formulate the development strategy of CITIC Securities asset management business,the paper analyzes the external opportunities and challenges of the asset management business,as well as the internal advantages and disadvantages according to the actual development of the asset management business of the company and combined with the new asset management regulations,and constructs the EFE matrix and IFE matrix.Finally,based on the analysis conclusion of internal and external elements,this paper constructs SWOT strategy matrix,selects out four alternative development strategies: growth strategy,reverse strategy,diversification strategy and defensive strategy,determines the diversified development strategy,and proposes five protection measures for the implementation of the strategy,first,to give play to the advantages of department linkage;second,to enter public offering;third,to develop innovative business;fourth,the layout of technology asset management and strengthen team building;the other is to strengthen the compliance risk control and management,and prevent operational risks.
