| In recent years,China encourages and supports a number of market segments to fill the short board,forging the long board,fill in the gaps in the cultivation of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises,and those have outstanding products or services in a specific area of the enterprise is called superior SMES.The specific definition of "superior SMES" is as follows.First of all,"Zhuan",refers to specialization,refers to the specific niche areas have professional characteristics of the product or a strong special production process."Jing" refers to refinement,which means the concept of excellence in enterprise management,product production,technology,the establishment of a refined management system,well-designed products and services."Te",refers to characterization,which means the unique features in the market,using a unique process or raw materials to develope products,often with special features,catering to a specific group of consumers."Xin",referring to novelty,which means the process of research and development,design,production and other processes do not conform to the old mode,relying on independent research and development,scientific and technological innovation,instead,according to the new intellectual property rights to create high-tech content products or innovative services with advanced tool.Superior SMES have the qualities of specialization,refinement,specialization,novelty,strong innovation ability,good quality and efficiency and are in the important link of the supply chain.In the current business development environment with increasingly fierce competition,cultivating the competitiveness of superior SMES is of great significance to enhance the stability of the supply chain,strengthen the competitive strength of the industrial chain,and improve the modern economic system.The thesis will take XGIMI as an example to study the path of improving the competitiveness of superior SMES.The structure of the thesis is divided into six major parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of the study,the purpose and innovation of the study,the structure and technical route of the thesis.The second part is the literature review and theoretical framework,which firstly collates and reviews the existing theories on enterprise competitiveness,foreign invisible champions and China’s superior SMES,and introduces the theoretical research framework for the enhancement of superior SMES.The third part is the research design,which introduces the whole process from research methodology,selection of target case,case data collection and data analysis,to the formulation of research hypotheses.The fourth part is the case background introduction,which gives a brief introduction to the research case XGIMI and describes its development history and the current situation of the projection industry in which it is located.This part introduces the case study analysis and research findings,which analyzes the influencing factors in the theoretical framework one by one through the collected case study data,and revises the theoretical framework based on the actual data.The fifth part is a summary of the research on the assessment and enhancement of the competitiveness of superior SMES,drawing conclusions from the case study,theoretical values and practical insights,and pointing out the limitations of the research.Based on the current situation,this paper identifies problems,summarizes existing literature,and concludes that there are four aspects in each of the two major levels of assessing and enhancing the competitiveness of specialized and new enterprises,and constructs a theoretical framework for enhancing the competitiveness of superior SMES by using a single-case study method with XGIMI as the case study object,using document categorization and data coding methods.It was found that the enhancement mechanisms include four major mechanisms of specialization,refinement,specialization,and novelty,and on this basis,the factors of the effectiveness of the four major mechanisms were studied.In terms of specialization,profitability,asset quality,financial risk,and operational growth can improve the effectiveness of the mechanism;in terms of refinement,human resources,corporate culture,and social responsibility can improve the effectiveness of the mechanism;in terms of specialization,product services,process skills,market position,and brand reputation can improve the effectiveness of the mechanism;in terms of novelty,scientific and technological research and development,globalization,and business model can improve the effectiveness of the mechanism In terms of novelty,scientific and technological research and development,globalization,and business model can improve mechanism effectiveness.Based on the above case studies,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for the improvement of the competitiveness of specialized and new enterprises.In terms of industrial specialization,the company can enrich the product matrix,provide customized products for diversified needs,and cater to consumers;in terms of improvement of management refinement,the company needs to reduce costs and improve management efficiency;in terms of improvement of market specialization,the company focuses on branding,attaches importance to packaging process,shape design,logistics and transportation,etc.In terms of improvement of market specialization,companies focus on branding,pay attention to packaging technology,shape design,logistics and transportation,and other service optimization to enhance the reputation and recognition among consumers;in terms of improvement of R&D novelty,companies should pay attention to the reasonable allocation of R&D capital investment to improve corporate innovation performance. |
