The Study On Selection And Development Tendency Of Superior Industry In Baotou

The superior industry of a region plays a very important role of supporting and promoting the development of reginal economy,in face of crucial strategic opportunities of further development of western china,how BaoTou selects and adopts the development strategy of the superior industry according to it's basic conditon,by which to speed the development of BaoTou and realize the goal that"scientific development and richer people and stronger BaoTou",is an impending strategy faced to the BaoTou government in the 11th five-year plan period.This paper is the sub-project of soft science research project of BaoTou named"expanding strategy of superior industry and cultivating new industry of BaoTou".According to the existing research, this paper,defines the superior industry, analyzes the characteristics of the superior industry and compares the superior industry with other industry concept,proposes the principles of selection superior industry,and chooses the suitable criterions and methods for the selection of a region superior industry after comparing the relevant criterions and methods.This paper selects the superior industry from existing industry of BaoTou. First using the important single indicator to select the superior industry and second appraising the comparative and competitive advantage of each industry of BaoTou.At last,combination the aboved results with the real situation of BaoTou, this paper slects the five superior industries of BaoTou,they are Steel industry,Aluminiun industry,Rare earth industry,Electricity industry and Equipment manufacturing industry, they should be as the key development industries of BaoTou.This paper studies the tendency of the superior industry development of BaoTou after analyzing the effect of industrial clusters and the way to sustainably develope for industry and proposes that the development tendency of the superior industries of BaoTou should be industry clusterisation and industry ecologisation from the view of real situation of BaoTou. At last,some advices are expressed aiming at promoting the industry clusterisation and industry ecologisation of superior industry of BaoTou.
