Since the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the global industrial competition pattern has undergone major adjustments. On the one hand, some developing countries give full play to their own factor endowment advantages, actively join the global value chain and expand the international market space; On the other hand, developed countries have adopted the relevant strategies of manufacturing industry backflow to reshape new competitive advantages for the manufacturing industry. At the same time, the new generation of information technology is making new breakthroughs in various fields. Therefore,in this context,China should actively grasp the industrial transformation, integrate new information technology into the manufacturing process of the manufacturing industry, promote cross-industry and cross-field collaborative innovation, and realize the value chain leap. The synergy and convergence of manufacturing and producer services(hereinafter referred to as "the two industries")can promote the rational and effective integration of producer services into manufacturing production, and also provide a realistic space platform for the manufacturing industry to seek multi-party cooperation entities. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the role of "the two industries" synergy, agglomeration and interaction on the efficiency of manufacturing innovation.Based on the industrial and spatial perspective, this paper first analyzes the direct and indirect spatial impact of the "two industries" collaborative agglomeration on manufacturing innovation efficiency.Secondly, this paper takes 30 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China except Tibet from 2011 to 2020 as the observation samples, and analyzes the development level of China’s "two industries" collaborative agglomeration and the two-stage innovation efficiency of the manufacturing industry in each region.Furthermore, this paper verifies the spatial correlation between collaborative agglomeration and manufacturing innovation efficiency in two stages through Moran’s I index, and constructs a spatial Dubin model considering the spatial dependence of both the explained variable and the explanatory variable. Finally, based on the spatial Dubin model, this paper analyzes the direct and spatial effects of the "two industries" collaborative agglomeration on the efficiency of technological research and development and economic transformation of manufacturing industry, analyzes the different roles of collaborative agglomeration in different regions on the efficiency of two-stage innovation of manufacturing industry, and explores the industry differences between the impact of the productive service industry and the manufacturing industry collaborative agglomeration on two-stage innovation of manufacturing industry. The empirical results show that the "two industries" collaborative agglomeration is not only conducive to the improvement of the innovation efficiency of the local manufacturing industry, but also has a significant spillover effect on the technological research and development efficiency of the surrounding regions, but has a significant negative siphon effect on its economic transformation efficiency. In addition,in terms of regional differences, there are significant regional differences in the two stages of innovation; In terms of industry differences, the impact of different producer service industry segments and manufacturing agglomeration on the innovation efficiency of manufacturing industry at different stages is different, and the impact on neighboring regions is also different.Based on this, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: collaborative agglomeration, manufacturing innovation efficiency and regional innovation development.
