| Transportation is an important support and guarantee for the economic development of a country or region.By improving the regional transportation capacity,it changes the spatial form and pattern of productivity layout and distribution,and leads to the rational allocation and efficient use of resources inside and outside the region,resulting in significant changes in the regional spatial pattern of economic development and industrial layout within a certain region.As an important province in the Yangtze River Delta region,Zhejiang Province has reached the level of medium developed countries in terms of economic development,but the economic development of its internal cities varies,and the construction of transportation infrastructure also varies among cities.Therefore,it is necessary to study and analyze the coordination between transportation and economic development in each city of Zhejiang Province.This paper explores the coupling relationship between transport and regional economy from the perspective of provincial cities,measures the comprehensive development level of transport and regional economy in Zhejiang Province from 2017 to 2021 through the entropy method,explores the coupling coordination between the two,and analyses the development of the coupling coordination degree in time and space as well as the reasons for the differences,and then uses the grey model to predict the future coupling coordination degree of Zhejiang cities.Finally,gray correlation analysis is used to explore the factors affecting the coupling coordination degree,and put forward the corresponding policy suggestions according to the research conclusionsBased on the research of this paper,the results of the study can be obtained as follows:during the period of 2017-2021,the overall transportation level of 11 cities in Zhejiang Province shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing,and the regional economic development level shows an overall increasing level,with Hangzhou and Ningbo far exceeding other cities in Zhejiang Province in the comprehensive development level of transportation and economy.The coupling coordination degree of transportation and regional economy in 11 cities of Zhejiang Province is relatively stable during this period,but the cities are seriously stratified,with the spatial characteristics that the north-eastern Zhejiang Province is higher than the south-western Zhejiang Province,and the coastal areas are higher than the inland areas.The prediction results of the coupling coordination degree from 2022 to 2026 by the gray model show that Shaoxing,Quzhou and Lishui have a large increase,while Wenzhou and Huzhou have a certain decrease,and the rest of the cities show a small fluctuation.Through grey correlation analysis to explore traffic and economic influence coupling coordination factors,the influence of coupling factors in each city is roughly the same,mostly concentrated in the industrial structure,residents’ income level and traffic investment in fixed assets,etc.,regional economic indicators relative to the transportation index in the coupling coordination role and greater influence. |
