Research On The Factors Affecting Farmers' Willingness To Participate In Collective Economic Development In Poverty-stricken Area

The development of rural collective economy is an important tool to consolidate the achievements of poverty eradication,implement rural revitalization and promote common prosperity in the 14 th Five-Year Plan period.Consolidating the results of poverty eradication and rural revitalization and increasing the willingness of farmers to participate in the development of collective economy are the urgent needs to realize the common prosperity of farmers.Guiding County has promoted collective economy development through the implementation of asset clearance,asset quantification,membership definition,benefit distribution and guarantee mechanisms to help farmers achieve common prosperity,but farmers,as the main body of collective economy development,have a weak foundation for poverty eradication,low willingness to participate in the development of village collective economy,low initiative and insufficient risk capacity of pits.Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance to study the degree of influence of different factors on farmers’ willingness to participate,to enhance farmers’ willingness to participate,to optimize the development path of collective economy,and to promote the high-quality development of collective economy and farmers’ common prosperity.Based on the research data of farmers in Guiding County,Guizhou Province,this paper takes the factors influencing farmers’ willingness to participate in collective economic development in Guiding County as the research theme.After understanding the current situation,basic practices and existing problems of collective economic development through discussions with village cadres,we set core independent variables in terms of farmers’ attitudes,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control with the help of the theory of planned behavior,and use descriptive statistical analysis and econometric modeling.The study also used descriptive statistical analysis and econometric modeling to analyze the willingness of farmers to participate in Guiding County,and constructed a binary logistic regression model to empirically analyze the factors influencing farmers’ willingness to participate in collective economic development.The results of the study showed that farmers’ physical health and whether or not they have immediate family members settled in urban areas had significant effects on their willingness to participate in collective economic development;in addition,farmers’ attitudes,subjective norms,and perceived behavioral control also had significant effects on their willingness to participate in collective economic development.In order to improve the proportion of farmers’ willingness to participate and promote the high-quality development of collective economy,the above-mentioned influencing factors need to be continuously improved and refined in order to grasp the development direction of farmers’ willingness to participate.Based on the research results,this paper proposes countermeasures in terms of farmers’ attitudes,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control:(1)to play the role of propaganda and guidance,lower the entry threshold of shareholding,and encourage different ways of shareholding;(2)to establish a sound management system and strive to improve the level of service to effectively improve farmers’ attitudes;(3)to enhance the leadership of cadres and improve the effect of subjective norms by collaborative participation of multiple subjects;(4)to attach importance to farmers’ cultivation work,introducing professional and technical talents,and enhancing perceived behavioral control.
