S Company is a well-known cosmetics production and sales company,currently ranked in the forefront of the domestic industry.The company actively embraces the market and adopts new retail models such as online live broadcasting to promote enterprise sales and enhance the user experience.The characteristics of new retail require the information department of the enterprise to give strong support to the business department,such as being able to respond to market demand in a timely manner,and rapidly expanding the capacity and performance of the information system in a timely manner,so that in the event of an unexpected event in the market,it can support the rapidly expanding sales demand in a timely manner.The current operation management of the information department of S company has some problems and cannot meet the needs of the business department.The main goal of the information department is to carry out performance appraisal,there are quite a lot of redundant resources and manpower arrangements,etc.,resulting in the information department investing too much human physics,but can not meet the actual needs of the business department,but also make the business department can not normally cooperate with the information department,and then affect the normal operation of the business department.At present,the problems in the information department of S company are a relatively common problem,and many enterprises of the same size as S company also have this problem.This study focuses on the current problems encountered by the information department,combines the theory of change management and the theory of operation management,determines the direction of analysis through the Leavitt diamond model in the theory of organizational change,evaluates the operational ability of the information department,and establishes a method for assessing the operational ability of the information department.This method evaluates the operational capability of the information department from different dimensions: organizational structure,business process,operating cost and personnel structure.Find out the problems existing in the above four aspects and analyze the specific causes of the problems.In the process of cause analysis,the benchmarking method in operation management and the on-site interview method are used to analyze the specific causes of the four directions in detail,and the fishbone diagram is used to help analyze and sort out.After obtaining the specific causes of the problems in the information department,the methods of organizational structure optimization,business process optimization,operating costs and personnel structure optimization were studied,and finally a method for optimizing the operational capacity of the information department was obtained to solve the problems existing in the current information department.The methodology established in this study to assess operational capabilities,as well as the optimization methods used to address the problem,can be used as a reference for other companies with the same problems.
