Study On The Competitiveness Of Fruit Industry In Shandong Province

Shandong Province is one of the major fruit-producing provinces in my country and plays a pivotal role in fruit production.The fruit industry in Shandong Province has entered a new stage of developing both quality and quantity.Exploring the competitiveness of the fruit industry in Shandong Province can better grasp the development direction of the fruit industry.According to the resistance in the development of the fruit industry,the targeted solutions are put forward,which has important guiding significance for the improvement of the competitiveness of the fruit industry in Shandong Province.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the topic selection of the competitiveness of the fruit industry in Shandong Province,sorts out the relevant research literature at home and abroad,and expounds the relevant theories and concepts.Secondly,the fruit industry is introduced from the aspects of industrial layout,output situation,market situation and brand value,etc.,to pave the way for the follow-up research on the competitiveness of the fruit industry.Then,based on Michael Porter’s "Diamond Model",an index system is constructed from five aspects: production factors,demand factors,the development of agricultural management entities,the development of related industries and the government.The industrial competitiveness has been compared vertically and horizontally.Through the empirical results,it is concluded that the competitiveness of the fruit industry in Shandong Province has a relative competitive advantage in the whole country,but there are still some obstacles in the improvement of competitiveness.Finally,in order to solve the resistance in improving the competitiveness of Shandong’s fruit industry,targeted countermeasures to improve the competitiveness of Shandong’s fruit industry were put forward from various aspects.
