Based on risk management theory,principal-agent theory,information asymmetry theory and other theories,this paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation,problems,causes and other contents of the operational risk management of the sub-branch’s counter business by combing the relevant literature of domestic and foreign scholars and experts on the operational risk management of commercial banks,using the methods of questionnaire survey,case analysis and other methods,and taking the Bank of China’s PY branch case.First of all,the article makes a preliminary identification of the counter business risk of Bank of China PY Sub-branch from the four aspects of system,personnel,system and process by means of questionnaire survey;Secondly,in combination with expert interviews,the article constructs the Bank of China PY Sub-branch counter business risk assessment index system with five factors,namely,environmental factors,personnel factors,institutional factors,system factors and process factors,as the first-level indicators and 16 second-level indicators,and obtains the corresponding weights of the first-level indicators;Then,the article deeply analyzes the causes of the operational risk of the counter business of the Bank o f China PY Branch,including: the quality of the counter operation staff needs to be improved,the counter operation management system is not perfect,the counter operation process management is not perfect,the counter system security has hidden dangers and the counter external supervision system is not perfect;Finally,the article combines the previous theoretical knowledge and the reasons for the operational risk of the counter business of the Bank of China PY Sub-branch,and puts forward the counter business risk management strategy of the Bank.This paper mainly adopts the research ideas of raising,analyzing and solving problems,and focuses on the evaluation of the reasons that affect the operational risk of the counter business of Bank of China PY Sub-branch by using the analytic hierarchy process.Among them,the personnel factor has the largest weight,followed by the institutional factor,the third is the process factor,the fourth is the system factor,,and the last is the environmental factor.Based on the weight ratio,this paper proposes counter business risk management strategies,including strengthening staff quality management,improving risk control management system,optimizing business process management,strengthening information system construction and preventing internal and external fraud.Operational risk management of counter business is one of the important contents of operational risk of commercial banks,and the perfection of its management system directly affects the daily operation and management of commercial banks.Through this discussion,it is expected to have certain theoretical and practical significance for Bank of China PY Sub-branch to standardize the operation and management of counter business and reduce risks,and also have certain reference and reference for other commercial banks in risk management.Operational risk management of counter business is one of the important contents of operational risk of commercial banks,and the perfection of its management system directly affects the daily operation and management of commercial banks.Through this discussion,it is expected to have certain theoretical and practical significance for Bank of China PY Sub-branch to standardize the operation and management of counter business and reduce risks,and also have certain reference and reference for other commercial banks in risk management.
