| Credit reporting is a system under which banks and other financial institutions evaluate and record the credit status of individuals or enterprises,with the contents of credit reports including personal credit records,enterprise credit records,bad credit records,etc.Credit reporting is of great significance to financial institutions,for it could not only serve as a reference concerning the credit status of customers but also help improve financial institutions efficiency in assessing risks and stipulating load policies.Meanwhile,credit reporting could also help individuals and enterprises improve their credit rating and grant them higher credit limits and lower interest rates by creating sound credit records.In this light,strengthening credit management plays a constructive role in maintaining the stable development of financial markets.By applying the method of questionnaire survey and panel interview,this paper introduced the status quo of credit management of the People’s Bank of China(PBOC)M downtown branch and probed into the problems the branch faces in credit management,including nonstandard credit information inquiry management,problematic internal management of credit access institutions,underdeveloped self-service credit inquiry function,and ineffective credit publicity.Then,by referring to the credit management mode of mainstream countries abroad as well as the credit management structure of other branches of the People’s Bank of China(PBOC)M downtown branch,this paper proposed the following constructive suggestions for the optimization of the credit management of M downtown branch: standardizing the credit inquiry management mechanism,enhancing the compliance management of credit access institutions,improving the management of credit self-service inquiry,and deepening the construction of a comprehensive social credit system.This paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1 introduced the research background and significance,a review of domestic and foreign research,and a description of the research idea.Chapter 2 defined the main concepts and related theories.Chapter 3described the status quo of the credit management of the People’s Bank of China M downtown branch and the problems that exist,and analyzed the reasons for such problems.Chapter 4 summarized and analyzed previous experience in credit management at home and abroad.Chapter 5 proposed certain constructive suggestions for the optimization of the credit management of the People’s Bank of China M downtown branch.Chapter 6 presents the conclusion and outlook of the study.The purpose of the study is to constantly improve the internal credit management level of the People’s Bank of China,form a sound external credit environment,and realize high-quality development of the social credit system. |
