Research On The Impact Of Digital Inclusive Finance On Rural Revitalization In The Yellow River Basin

Comprehensively promoting rural revitalization is a key area for building a modern country,and it is also one of the most arduous and onerous areas.At the beginning of the new spring of 2023,the No.1 Central Document focusing on comprehensively promoting rural revitalization was released,and key deployments were made for related work.In2021,the No.1 Central Document pointed out for the first time that it is necessary to promote digital inclusive finance in rural areas and use digitization under the existing agricultural financial conditions.This is a new financial model that integrates the Internet and inclusive finance,which is of great practical significance for the development of rural revitalization and the solution of the ’ three rural ’ issues.In September 2019,the state identified the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin as a major national strategy,and clearly proposed to build a new model of regional urban and rural development,and implement the rural revitalization strategy to promote the coordinated development of economy,society and environment.Based on the above background,this paper takes the Yellow River Basin as the study object,and uses the data of digital inclusive finance and rural revitalization development index of 100 cities(prefectures)in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2020 to theoretically and empirically analyze the mechanism of digital inclusive finance on rural revitalization in the Yellow River Basin.Firstly,the concepts of digital inclusive finance,rural revitalization and related influencing mechanisms are sorted out,and research hypotheses are proposed accordingly.Secondly,the entropy weight method is used to measure the rural revitalization development index of 15 secondary indicators,and the spatial and temporal comparative analysis of the development trend of inclusive digital finance and rural revitalization in the Yellow River Basin is carried out.Then,by establishing a two-way fixed effect model,this paper studies the impact of digital inclusive finance on rural revitalization and development in the Yellow River Basin,and analyzes the differences in the impact of digital finance on rural revitalization according to the level of Internet penetration,and finally puts forward policy recommendations.The conclusions of this study are as follows: The level of digital inclusive finance and rural revitalization in cities across the Yellow River Basin is growing steadily year by year;the development of digital inclusive finance will significantly and positively affect rural revitalization;the role of digital inclusive finance in promoting rural revitalization in the Yellow River Basin is heterogeneous.In areas with high Internet penetration,digital inclusive finance is more conducive to rural revitalization.In areas with low Internet penetration,digital inclusive finance is restricted by its development and has little contribution to rural revitalization.This study puts forward several suggestions: First,we should increase the priority support for digital inclusive finance and rural revitalization and development,so that in the future development,we should not only maintain the speed of development,but also ensure the quality of development.Second,we should make full use of the function of digital inclusive finance to provide the best services for rural development,and implement regional differentiation policies according to the differentiated characteristics of digital inclusive finance development and rural development in different regions of the Yellow River Basin,so that digital finance can better serve the people.Third,we should strengthen rural network construction,establish agricultural and rural big data systems,and take the opportunity of "Internet plus" to accelerate rural revitalization.
