Digital Economy,Skill Demand Structure And High-quality Export Development

In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,jin ping xi was pointed out that "accelerate the development of the digital economy and promote the deep integration of the digital economy.proposed that "building a digital China is an important engine for promoting Chinese-style modernization in the digital era and a strong support for building new advantages in national competition".It can be seen that improving the level of digital development,promoting the development of the digital economy,enhancing the high-level development of opening up,and improving the quality of trade are very important for economic development,especially in the weak economy after the epidemic,and are of great significance for achieving sustainable economic recovery.In-depth study of the impact of China’s digital economy development level on the quality of export trade can help China meet challenges,seize opportunities,promote high-quality export development in the digital economy era,and gradually move China from the edge of the digital trade stage to the center of the stage.Through theoretical analysis,this paper systematically discusses the influence mechanism of digital economy to promote export quality,and it is found that on the one hand,the digital economy has the characteristics of marginal cost tends to zero to bring cost saving effect,supplier input and consumer scale expansion bring scale economy effect,and diversified supply brings long-tail effect.On the other hand,the digital economy optimizes the structure of skill demand by reducing the proportion of low-skilled labor and increasing the proportion of high-skilled labor,and further forms a agglomeration effect through factor functions,promotes industrial transformation,and promotes technological innovation through efficiency functions,thereby promoting high-quality export development.At the provincial level,this paper uses principal component analysis to divide the development level of digital economy into two aspects: Internet development level and digital financial inclusiveness,and divide the measurement of Internet development level into four aspects: Internet penetration rate,mobile phone penetration rate,related output and relevant practitioners.The instrumental variable method was used to correct the endogenous problem,and a series of robustness tests were passed for the bilateral tailing processing of data,and the consistency estimation results were obtained.Further investigate the heterogeneous impact of digital economy on export trade quality according to geographical location and development environment,and find that there are significant regional differences in digital economy on export trade quality.In further research,the intermediary effect model is constructed using the skill demand structure as an intermediate variable,which proves that the skill demand structure is an important way for the digital economy to promote the high-quality development of exports.The study finds that the digital economy can significantly promote the high-quality development of exports.It is also believed that the impact of the digital economy on the quality of export trade is transmitted through the structure of skills demand;There is a certain lag between the effective nature of the digital economy and its effectiveness;The digital economy has a heterogeneous location between the east and the central and western regions of the export trade quality,and the heterogeneity of the development environment on both sides of the Huanyong Line,which is more obvious for the east and more obvious for the east side of the Huanyong Line.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: first,improve the policy management system,and provide policy support for improving the development level of digital economy and promoting the high-quality development of exports;Second,improve the construction of digital infrastructure and create a relaxed market environment that promotes the comprehensive development of the digital economy;Third,increase the proportion of high-skilled labor force and cultivate the digital literacy of citizens.
