| In recent years,topics such as resources,environment,and climate have increasingly become the focus of attention and the crisis faced by countries.After the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,a new development concept with ecological civilization construction as an important part came into being,and "green development" has become a new idea to achieve a win-win situation of steady economic growth and ecological environmental protection.At the same time,as one of the leading industries in the new round of industrial revolution,advanced manufacturing plays a vital role in my country’s economic development,and also has an important impact on the level of urban green development.Advanced manufacturing agglomeration is a space-time form in which affiliated enterprises pursue scale effects and technological effects in space.It can not only promote regional green development through economies of scale and technological spillovers,but also inhibit regional green development through diseconomies of scale and technology.develop.Therefore,it is of practical significance to clarify the impact mechanism of advanced manufacturing agglomeration on the level of urban green development.In addition,the development of advanced manufacturing clusters in Jiangsu Province ranks in the leading position in my country.Taking Jiangsu Province as the research scope,it will have important theoretical and practical significance to explore the impact of advanced manufacturing clusters on urban green development.Based on the related literature on advanced manufacturing agglomeration and urban green development,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of advanced manufacturing agglomeration on the level of urban green development at different stages with scale effect and technology effect as the entry point.In the index measurement part,a new index is constructed to measure the agglomeration of advanced manufacturing industries,the entropy method is used to measure the level of urban green development,and the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of the index are comprehensively analyzed with the aid of Arc GIS software.Based on this,in the empirical part,this paper takes 18 industries of China’s manufacturing industry from 2003 to 2015 in 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province as samples to construct a basic panel model and a spatial Dubin model(SDM).The impact of industrial agglomeration on the level of urban green development;further,the differences between regions are explored by sub-samples,and the theoretical mechanism is verified.Based on the above analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The level of advanced manufacturing agglomeration in Jiangsu Province first experienced a period of rapid agglomeration in southern Jiangsu cities,and then shifted to cities in central and northern Jiangsu,showing an advanced manufacturing agglomeration centered on one belt and one point(one belt: Nanjing to Nantong,one point: Xuzhou).District,multipoint(other cities)comprehensive development pattern.(2)The overall level of urban green development in Jiangsu Province shows a fluctuating upward trend.It first experienced a period of rapid agglomeration of cities in southern Jiangsu,and then the green development level of cities in southern Jiangsu shifted to cities in central Jiangsu,and the five northern Jiangsu cities were relatively backward.(3)Based on the spatial autocorrelation test,the agglomeration of urban green development levels in Jiangsu Province is relatively stable,the path dependence is strong,and the dependence gradually increases.(4)The level of advanced manufacturing agglomeration in Jiangsu Province can significantly improve the level of urban green development.Among them,the level of advanced manufacturing agglomeration in central Jiangsu has the strongest promotion effect,followed by cities in southern Jiangsu,and the impact effect of cities in northern Jiangsu is negative.The agglomeration of advanced manufacturing in different areas is related at different stages.(5)The urbanization rate,scientific and technological progress,and human capital accumulation in Jiangsu Province have a positive effect on the urban green development level,and the degree of opening to the outside world has a negative effect on the urban green development level.Based on theoretical and empirical analysis conclusions,this paper believes that the agglomeration of advanced manufacturing can positively promote the green development of cities.Therefore,on the one hand,it is necessary to differentiate the relationship between the agglomeration of advanced manufacturing industries in different cities and the level of urban green development. |
