The plant protein beverage industry has seen a dramatic surge in competition due to China’s beverage industry’s swift growth and the growing inclination of consumers for healthy drinks.Financial strategy is a key factor in this rivalry,with the primary goal of utilizing a balanced flow of funds to secure a lasting competitive edge and foster long-term growth.Therefore,effective management of corporate financial strategies based on the perspective of sustainable development is not only beneficial for enterprises to form their core competitiveness,but also helps them grasp opportunities and respond to challenges in the ever-changing market environment,ultimately achieving sustainable development.Firstly,this article discovered that the application of sustainable development to corporate financial strategic management,both domestically and internationally,has largely been studied on a theoretical level,focusing on principles and significance,with no empirical research.As a prominent company in the plant protein beverage sector,L Company has a long-standing history of growth and is thus a representative figure in the industry.Consequently,this article utilizes L Company as an illustration,exploring the financial strategic management of L Company from a sustainable development standpoint.Secondly,this article divides financial strategic management into three distinct areas: investment strategy,fundraising strategy,and distribution strategy management.It evaluates the company’s financial strategy from both an internal and external perspective,as well as the financial state of the same industry,and the present state of the company’s finances strategic management;Finally,through comparative analysis,a financial strategy matrix combining sustainable growth models and value creation is used to quantitatively evaluate the sustainable development of L company.Exploring the reasons that influence the sustainability of L company’s financial strategy management in the three areas above,the results of enterprise life cycle and current situation analysis are combined.After research,it was found that except for 2021,L Company’s actual growth rate in recent years has been lower than the sustainable growth rate.L Company is relatively conservative in its investment strategy and has a large amount of idle funds.In addition,the competitiveness of its main products has decreased,and there is an urgent need to research and develop new products to stabilize its market share;The main problem in fundraising strategy is conservative and single,mainly relying on endogenous equity fundraising,wasting one’s own financing advantages.The effect of utilizing financial leverage at the same time is relatively small;In terms of distribution strategy,there is a problem of unstable and discontinuous dividend distribution plans,and on the other hand,there is a lack of corresponding equity incentive measures.Therefore,this article proposes corresponding optimization suggestions for the above issues.L Company should use its remaining cash to accelerate investment and development,and accelerate new product research and development to improve its core competitiveness;Enhance financial leverage,optimize financing structure,and reasonably arrange financial resources;Implement stable distribution policies and establish an equity incentive system.Based on the perspective of sustainable development,this article analyzes the financial strategic management of L Company,which will help enrich the financial strategic management cases of the beverage industry and provide certain reference for similar enterprises to achieve sustainable development.
