Entering the 21 st century,with the rapid development of the economy and continuous improvement of technology,competition among enterprises has shifted from inter-enterprise competition to competition between logistics supply chains.Against this backdrop,enterprises have increasingly high demands for logistics,but Chinese enterprises are lagging behind in this regard.Most companies have started to focus on their core competencies and outsource logistics,migrating to professional logistics companies in order to improve their logistics supply chains.How to select high-quality service providers,establish good relationships with logistics service providers,and manage service providers have become major challenges for enterprises.It is necessary to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the potential problems in logistics service provider management and provide improvement and optimization measures.This article takes the logistics service provider management of Company K as an example,hoping to improve the efficiency of enterprise logistics,reduce operating costs,and increase customer satisfaction by applying refined management concepts in logistics service provider management.The article uses the "problem discovery,post-analysis,and solution" research method,which is based on relevant data and literature and the author’s field research on Company K.The article begins with the theory and discourse of logistics service provider management,and provides a simple analysis,as well as a comprehensive summary and introduction.Secondly,the operational status of the logistics service provider for Company K is analyzed,and some problems in current operations are identified.Then,the management system is improved and a refined management system is constructed by linking the operational status of Company K’s service provider with the existing problems,which mainly includes logistics service provider evaluation,service provider selection,service provider performance assessment,and service provider training.This research has high reference value for the logistics service provider management of related enterprises.
