In recent years,China’s economy has shifted from a phase of high-speed growth to one of high-quality development.The Chinese financial system,which is operating in an intensely competitive environment,has also undergone a transformative evolution and has given rise to the contours of a new finance,both in theory and practice.With the continuous development of the economy and society and the changing nature of the primary contradiction,the financial industry is also expected constantly adapt and enhance its competitiveness.In the modern era,the development of the financial industry requires greater diversity and personalization,and financial institutions need to have higher innovation capability and service level to meet the needs of different clients.With the arrival of the 5G era,the financial industry is promoting digital operations while operating in a market environment with increasingly stringent regulation and rising risks.In the face of new challenges and opportunities,the construction and cultivation of a high-quality talent team has become a top priority for the development of banks.Based on this,this paper takes the J-bank of D-branch as an example.Based on a review and analysis of existing literature related to performance evaluation,questionnaires and interviews were used to summarize and analyze the current status,gaps and causes of performance evaluation of the corporate client managers at the D-branch of J-bank.Building on the existing key performance indicator method,combined with the balanced scorecard method,the performance evaluation system for corporate client managers at the D-branch of J-bank was improved and innovated from five angles: subject,indicator system,organizational process,mechanism for appealing and feedback of results,and application of results.Relevant guarantees were proposed for the implementation of the optimized performance evaluation plan.The paper reconstructs a performance evaluation plan for corporate client managers at the D-branch,which meets the requirements of the job responsibilities and is in line with the new finance concept that conforms to the transformation and development of the J-bank.On this basis,an effective method for the application and implementation of performance evaluation in practical work was explored.By combining various reasonable performance evaluation tools,the optimized performance evaluation plan was put into effect to stimulate the work enthusiasm and potential of corporate client managers,so as to better assist in the achievement of the strategic transformation goals of the J-bank and fulfill the responsibility of a state-owned bank.
