Research On The Influence Of Digital Economy On The High-quality Development Of Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing industry is of great strategic significance for building a socialist modern power and developing the real economy,but at the same time,there are some phenomena in China’s manufacturing industry,such as being big but not strong,being all-round but not excellent,and the key core technologies being controlled by people.In recent years,China’s digital economy has flourished and made great achievements,which has a certain impact on improving the high-quality development level of manufacturing industry.Therefore,this paper studies the measurement of the high-quality development level of manufacturing industry in China and the influence of digital economy on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,which will have certain practical significance for building a manufacturing power and enhancing the comprehensive strength of the country.In this paper,the panel data of 30 provinces from 2011 to 2020 are used to measure the high-quality development level of digital economy and manufacturing industry,and thirteen evaluation indicators are selected from four levels: economic benefit,innovationdriven,green development and structural optimization to build an index system of highquality development of manufacturing industry.Then,the time series evolution characteristics and regional disparities of the measurement results are analyzed.Finally,the panel econometric model is used to empirically test the influence of digital economy on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.It is found that: on the whole,the high-quality development level of China’s manufacturing industry has steadily increased,only slightly decreased in 2020,and there is a development trend of "high in the east and low in the west" among regions;There are obvious differences in the growth rate of the first-level indicators of the four levels in the time trend.Digital economy can promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry and has regional heterogeneity.The influence of digital economy in the eastern region is ahead of that in the central region,but it is not significant in the western region.At the same time,the digital economy can also promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry by affecting the ability of technological innovation.Under different levels of high-quality development of manufacturing industry,the marginal effect of digital economy on promoting high-quality development of manufacturing industry is characterized by an inverted V-shaped change.In view of the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions from three aspects in turn:(1)comprehensively promoting the construction of digital economy;(2)Promote the deep integration of digital economy,technological innovation and high-quality development of manufacturing industry;(3)Develop a dynamic and differentiated digital economy development strategy to promote regional coordinated development.
