| In the process of purchasing,logistics,warehousing,distribution and retail of fresh and cold chain goods,the business model based on cold chain logistics and local procurement is very important.Therefore,the distribution center plays a key role in the supply chain of fresh and cold goods.All fresh commodities are first received and stored through the distribution center,and then distributed on demand according to the retail demand of local stores,thus effectively improving the supply chain security and operating efficiency of fresh commodities.Wal Mart Chengdu Fresh Food Distribution Center currently adopts Wal Mart’s global unified supplier management mechanism in supplier management,but there are a series of problems and deficiencies in the process of localization.In view of the above situation,this thesis analyzes the problems in the supplier management of the distribution center through file research and questionnaire research,and puts forward corresponding optimization measures and schemes.In the research,the research situation of supplier management at home and abroad in recent years was sorted out,the basic concepts of large-scale supermarket chains and their supply chains,and fresh food distribution centers were analyzed,and the basic contents and procedures of supplier management were sorted out.Then the current status of supplier management in the distribution center is analyzed,the basic overview of the distribution center,and the management mode and method of the supply chain is introduced.On this basis,according to Wal-Mart’s supplier management framework,the present supplier management work and methods of the distribution center are introduced in detail from the four aspects of supplier development,performance,risk and relationship management.Through job file analysis and investigation,the problems existing in supplier management is analyzed,which includes the size of the supplier team is relatively large,the structure of the supplier team is unreasonable,the lack of flexible supply capacity,and the high supplier turnover rate.At the same time,the reasons of the problem was analyzed,including insufficient development of local suppliers,insufficient suppliers’ own capabilities,lack of internal suppliers,and low supplier satisfaction.On the basis of the analysis of the problems and causes,by analyzing the current market situation of fresh commodities,and learning from Wal-Mart’s management experience of fresh commodity suppliers in other countries,targeted some improvement and optimization suggestions and countermeasures are proposed.The research results of this thesis has covered the selection,evaluation,classification and relationship management of suppliers,which can improve the quality of supplier management of Wal-Mart’s Chengdu Fresh Food Distribution Center.And could also provide reference and reference for the construction and optimization of the management system of fresh commodity suppliers,which includes increasing the development of local suppliers,strengthening resource support for suppliers,developing internal supplier system,and improving strategic coordination of suppliers. |
