China’s economic development has entered a high-quality development stage from quantitative change to qualitative change,from the pursuit of speed to both quantitative and qualitative development.With a large scale and stable development,China’s construction industry plays an important strategic role in supporting the national economy and maintains the position of pillar industry.In recent years,the construction industry has accelerated the industrialization and upgrading of construction,vigorously developed prefabricated buildings to improve the high-quality development of the construction industry.With the increasing fierce horizontal competition and the demand for human resources training,talent training has become the basic guarantee for the high-quality development and competitive advantage of the construction industry.It is an unavoidable issue in the current political and economic environment to decide how to select,cultivate and reserve talents,and release individual capabilities and organizational vitality,thus improving organizational performance and achieving organizational strategic development goals.Financial Manager is the bridge between business strategy and operations,finance and business,and is also CFO’s reserve talent.This fact proves that the training and development of the financial manager can help improve the management level and competitiveness of the construction enterprise.At present,the construction industry focuses on how to establish a training system corresponding to the development of construction enterprises to regulate training management,scientifically carry out personnel education and training,continuously cultivate high-quality personnel and promote the realization of strategic objectives.Based on the theory and practical experience of financial manager training at home and abroad,combined with the current situation of financial manager training in HS Group,this thesis combines the characteristic competency model with the analysis of financial manager training needs in the construction industry,and constructs a hierarchical,phased,scientific and effective financial manager training system.Based on the characteristic competency model,the research on the optimization of the training system for financial managers of HS Group aims to establish training programs for targeted financial managers for HS Group,promote the transformation of training learning to work effectiveness,and provide a certain reference basis for the construction and practical operation of the same type of post training system.By sorting out the scale,structure,characteristics,current training program,and system of financial managers,this thesis took HS Group as the case study object to analyze the key problems existing in their training system and then discuss the competency model of such system.Subsequently,based on the results of the interview of financial managers’ behavior events as well as the questionnaire of financial managers’ competency elements,and previous theoretical research,this study analyzed the characteristic competency elements of financial managers and established the competency characteristic models of these financial managers in HS group.Finally,in order to make the construction of the training system more reasonable and effective,the research conducted training needs analysis,training program design,training implementation,and training effect evaluation for the improvement of such training system.This research aims at improving the cross-application of competency theory and training theory to enrich the theoretical content of the training of financial managers in the construction industry.Further,the data obtained can provide a new perspective and basis for the training form,which could strengthen the human resources management and promote the high-quality development of the construction industry.Importantly,doing so helps more scientifically implement the training of financial managers in the construction industry.
