The study of competency originated in the United States,with its continuous development and maturity,the construction of competency model is widely used in various key positions in enterprises.Research on the competency model of key positions provides effective reference for companies in many aspects such as recruitment,selection,training,and assessment.With the rapid development of the banking industry,the traditional business model is constantly changing,and the role of wealth management managers in the day-to-day retail business of banks is becoming increasingly apparent.Due to the late introduction of the Bank of China's wealth management system,how to establish an effective competency model to provide theoretical guidance for the recruitment,selection,training,and evaluation of wealth management managers has become an urgent issue for commercial banks.This paper takes the retail account manager of CITIC Bank Lanzhou Branch as the research sample,and comprehensively uses the literature research and behavioral event interview method to analyze the competency characteristics of the personal financial manager of commercial banks.Through the questionnaire survey,the relevant data was collected.In the process of designing and distributing the questionnaire,the “questionnaire star” was used to design and send and recycle through the WeChat applet,which solved the problem that the questionnaire data is difficult to collect in daily work.Finally,the SPSS software is used to perform descriptive statistical analysis,reliability analysis and validity analysis on the collected questionnaire data.The factor analysis method is used to classify and summarize the identified competency characteristics,thus building the competence of the needle CITIC bank financial management manager.The force model provides theoretical guidance for the recruitment and selection of talents and the formulation of compensation systems.The CITIC Bank Lanzhou Branch Retail Account Manager competency model is built into six dimensions: professional quality,knowledge and skills,process management,customer development,personal traits,and professional ideals.There are 36 competency factors,and each competency factor is explained and explained in combination with existing theories and personal work experience.Combined with the established competency model,a competing scoreboard for recruiting and selecting financial managers was compiled to facilitate the quantification of competency evaluation.
