Research On The Impact Of Agricultural Digitalization On Rural Industry Revitalization

If the industry is prosperous,all industries will prosper.Realizing the revitalization of rural industries is a prerequisite for solving all current problems,But now,there are still many problems in the development of rural industries in our country.For example,the type of rural industry is single,the scale is relatively small,and insufficient mechanical input efforts lead to low efficiency and effectiveness of agricultural production.The industrial layout in rural areas is not reasonable enough,the additional value generated by agricultural products is low,the level of integration between rural industries and service industries is relatively low,there is a lack of agricultural-type talents,and agricultural products lack competitiveness in the market,etc.However,the development of agricultural digitalization can strengthen the quality of agricultural products,help agriculture achieve transformation and upgrading,and speed up the process of agricultural modernization,while it will also accelerate the integration of one,two and three industries and further enhance the efficiency of rural industrial development,thus promoting the revitalization of China’s rural industry.So,agricultural digital economy as a new development model provides ideas for rural industrial revitalization.First of all,based on the combing of relevant literature,this paper elaborates the definition of scholars on the connotation of agricultural digitalization and rural industrial revitalization,and then elaborates the theory of digital empowerment and the theory related to rural industrial revitalization and analyzes the mechanism from three aspects of direct effect,indirect effect and spatial effect of agricultural digitalization on rural industrial revitalization in China,and provide ideas for the next empirical study.Secondly,according to the panel data of 30 provinces and municipalities in China from 2011 to 2020,we construct an index system of agricultural digitalization in three aspects: infrastructure,resource security and efficiency level,and an index system of rural industrial revitalization in three aspects: production capacity,development efficiency and industrial integration,and using the entropy method to measure these indicators.At the same time,we analyzed the current level of development of digitalization in agriculture and rural industrial revitalization in two dimensions: time and space,respectively.The current situation of agricultural digitalization and rural industrial revitalization is analyzed in two dimensions: time and space.Again,this paper empirically examines the driving effect of agricultural digitization on rural industrial revitalization and conducts heterogeneity analysis,takes agricultural science and technology innovation as a mediating variable,studies its path role in agricultural digitization affecting rural industrial revitalization,and explores its spatial spillover effect spatially.Through the study,we have come to the following conclusions: First,in general,the development level of agricultural digitization and rural industrial revitalization has been significantly improved,but the regional development is unbalanced,with the characteristics of "high in the east and low in the west".Second,agricultural digitalization plays a positive role in promoting the revitalization of rural industries in China and there is obvious regional heterogeneity.The development of agricultural digitization in the eastern region has an impact on the revitalization of rural industries,but we cannot clearly see the impact of agricultural digitization in the central and western regions on the revitalization of rural industries.Third,agricultural science and technology innovation plays a partly intermediary role in agricultural digitalization to promote rural industrial revitalization,and it is important to strengthen agricultural science and technology innovation to digitally empower rural industrial revitalization.Fourth,the development of digitalization of agriculture spatially affects the development of rural industrial revitalization in each place,which will benefit the development of rural industries in neighboring areas.Finally,based on the conclusions obtained above,countermeasure suggestions for agricultural digitalization to promote rural industrial revitalization are proposed: First,accelerate the digitalization of agriculture in each region to give full play to the role of digital economy in promoting the revitalization of rural industries.Second,implement different agricultural digital development strategies to reduce the f development gap between the east and the midwest in agriculture so as to better promote the revitalization of regional rural industries.Third,pay great attention to the level of agricultural science and technology innovation and focus on creating a technological innovation environment to provide inexhaustible power for agricultural digitalization to promote the revitalization of rural industries in a comprehensive manner.Fourth,improve the construction of regional agricultural digital infrastructure,strengthen inter-regional coordination,and give full play to the radiation-driven effect of agricultural digitalization on the revitalization of regional rural industries.
