| With the internationalization of the economy and increasingly fierce competition,developed country enterprises have chosen to invest or establish overseas branches in China due to their cost advantages and international market considerations.Generally speaking,foreign direct investment companies have more advanced management concepts than domestic private enterprises,and the performance and assessment management methods to be implemented are relatively systematic and scientific,However,since the cultural environment,regional characteristics and development trend they face in their international operations are completely different from those of their home countries,foreign-invested enterprises should learn to understand and adjust the content and methods of performance management according to the differences in Chinese laws,culture and customs if they want to better integrate into the Chinese market.In order to explore the methods and paths for localizing performance management in foreign-invested enterprises,this article elaborates on the problems and deviations that exist in the implementation of performance management in S company through a case study of S company.Combined with the relevant performance management theories and knowledge learned,through literature review,questionnaire survey,and interview methods,detailed research and analysis are conducted on the reasons for the problems,and corresponding improvement and improvement measures are proposed,Finally,a summary was made on the localization approaches and guarantees for performance management of foreign direct investment companies in China.This article is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,the second part is the relevant concepts and theories of performance management,the third part is the current situation and existing problems of S company’s performance management,the fourth part is the exploration of the localization path of S company’s performance management,the fifth part is the guarantee measures of S company’s performance management localization,and the sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.This article conducts empirical research on the performance management of foreign direct investment companies.Based on current performance management theories,it analyzes various problems encountered by foreign direct investment companies in the implementation of performance management.Combining with the actual situation and culture in China,it proposes some implementation path plans and guarantee measures for the localization of performance management.From a theoretical perspective,the research in this article enriches the content of performance localization in foreign-invested enterprises and helps to enrich the theoretical research results related to performance management localization in China.From a practical perspective,this article identifies problems and proposes improvement suggestions for the localization of S company’s performance management,which to some extent solves practical development problems for S company.This will also provide a certain reference basis for the performance management work of other foreign direct investment companies in China. |
