| As China’s economy shifts to the stage of high-quality development,it is of great practical significance to explore the relationship between science and technology innovation and new urbanization to achieve high-quality regional development.The report of the 20 th Party Congress proposes to promote coordinated regional development and advance the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.As a key frontier region of national strategy,the Yangtze River Delta is not only a pioneer of national development,but also a bridge connecting China and the international market.Taking the Yangtze River Delta as a typical region for research,an in-depth analysis of the interaction and evolution of new urbanization and science and technology innovation is conducive to exploring effective ways to promote the coordinated development of the two.As a realistic carrier to promote urban-rural integration,industrial interaction,harmonious development and conservation and intensification,new urbanization is an important force to realize the balanced development of the Yangtze River Delta region;as an important means to enhance national and regional competitiveness,science and technology innovation has gradually become a core element to evaluate the comprehensive strength of cities and towns.Therefore,under the realistic background that both new urbanization and innovation-driven development strategies are not yet completed,studying the relationship between the two will help explore a new model of integrated development of science and technology innovation and new urbanization,and promote coordinated and high-quality regional development.On the basis of summarizing and organizing relevant concepts and theories,the thesis constructs an evaluation index system and a comprehensive evaluation model,substitutes relevant index data from 2011 to 2020,understands the current situation of the development of new urbanization and science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region,constructs a coupling coordination degree evaluation model on this basis,conducts an empirical analysis of the coupling and coordination status of new urbanization and science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region,and finally further evaluates the impact of factors affecting the level of coupling and coordination of the two systems.The main findings of the study are:(1)Looking at the development of new urbanization and science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region,the overall development of the Yangtze River Delta shows a steady growth,but there is still a large gap between the three provinces and one city inside,and there is an uneven regional development,such as the development of science and technology innovation,Anhui Province is far behind other provinces and cities.(2)From the changes of the coupling coordination degree of new urbanization and science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta,the overall coupling coordination degree of the Yangtze River Delta shows a slow growth trend,the coupling coordination level has experienced barely coordinated to basic coordination and is about to reach the medium coordination stage,and the coupling coordination development differences are narrowing year by year from the local perspective.(3)From the perspective of the influencing factors of the coupling coordination development,in terms of new urbanization,urban infrastructure construction plays a crucial role in helping to promote the new urbanization construction in the Yangtze River Delta region;in terms of science and technology innovation development,science and technology innovation environment and science and technology innovation investment are important motives to ensure the steady improvement of science and technology innovation capacity in the Yangtze River Delta region.Figure [8] table [14] reference [111]... |
