Research On Working Capital Management Of Enterprise A From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

Working capital plays a vital role in the business activities of enterprises,affecting the rise and fall of enterprises.With the further upgrading of consumption,the market competition is also growing.Especially in the past two years,the epidemic situation has been severe.A large number of enterprises have been impacted,and a series of serious working capital problems have emerged.Poor management has led to their own development into a quagmire,which highlights the importance of operating capital management.The research on working capital management has gone through the analysis of a single project and single indicator,which can no longer adapt to the development of modern enterprises.Working capital management from the perspective of supply chain starts from the overall situation of the enterprise,carries out a comprehensive and integrated analysis of working capital,which can find the substantive problems existing in the enterprise,so as to put forward effective suggestions and improve the level of enterprise working capital management.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce the working capital management based on the supply chain perspective to the case enterprise.In view of this,this article constructs the literature research method,the case analysis method,the qualitative and quantitative analysis method to analyze.First,introduce the overall situation of the industry,and then analyze the overall financial situation and sort out the scale and structure of company A’s working capital by querying the financial statements for 2017-2021.After the above simple analysis,we will have an overall understanding of company A’s working capital situation,which will help us to better analyze it from the perspective of the supply chain.Then,the evaluation system of working capital management is established from four dimensions of coordination,liquidity,risk and profitability respectively,and reasonable evaluation indicators are determined according to the current actual situation.In addition,a targeted questionnaire is designed according to the research theme of this paper,and the level of working capital management of Company A is objectively analyzed and elaborated by means of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and other research methods.Finally,it was found that the problems of Company A during the working capital management focused on the following aspects:Excessive use of upstream funds in the procurement process,unreasonable cost structure and slow collection of accounts receivable.This is mainly due to the single supplier in the procurement process,the imperfect internal control mechanism and the weak risk awareness of the management in working capital management.Finally,suggestions are put forward by link.In the procurement link,supplier relationship management should be improved and a supply chain information sharing platform should be established;In the production process,we should optimize the company’s internal control system and performance evaluation system and improve the product structure;In the sales link,the following four aspects are taken into consideration:strengthening the training of credit management knowledge,establishing a credit management department,optimizing the organizational structure,standardizing the credit approval process,and standardizing the franchise delivery and performance evaluation management of the marketing department.The purpose is to improve the profitability of the company,occupy more market shares,and help the company achieve sustainable development.
