Study On The Practical Path Of Consolidating And Expanding The Achievements Of Poverty Alleviation In Runan County

In 2020,China won the battle against poverty,achieved the goal of overall prosperity,and resolved the overall regional poverty,taking a path of poverty alleviation with Chinese characteristics.In order to better consolidate and enhance the overall development of the regions that have been lifted out of poverty,a five-year transition period has been introduced for those who have been lifted out of poverty,during which the quality of life of those who have been lifted out of poverty can be guaranteed.The Central Government has highlighted the need to effectively link the consolidation and expansion of poverty eradication achievements with the revitalisation of the countryside,but many problems have arisen in the process.Fundamentally,the elimination of absolute poverty is achieved under state guarantees and is highly policy-oriented.As national policies continue to be adjusted and changed,this has led to some new problems in the process of consolidating and expanding the results of poverty eradication.Therefore,how to effectively improve this situation has become an urgent problem to be solved in the implementation of the rural revitalisation strategy at present.Taking Runan County as the research object,the thesis adopts the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,case study method and interview method to conduct an in-depth field research on it,and analyzes some problems that have emerged in the current work of consolidating and expanding the results of poverty eradication in Runan County with the survey data.After sorting out and analysing them,it was found that some farmers still have a high risk of returning to poverty,the poverty alleviation industry is less effective in driving income,the rural governance capacity needs to be improved and the implementation of poverty prevention monitoring and support measures is not timely.The research analysis shows that these problems are caused by the lack of personal capacity and risk resistance of households that have escaped poverty,the poor sustainability of poverty alleviation industries,the inadequate consolidation and expansion of poverty alleviation measures and the neglect of the development of rural order.The thesis concludes by proposing a practical path for consolidating and expanding the results of poverty eradication in Runan County in terms of fully mobilising the internal motivation of households who have escaped poverty to become rich,continuously optimising the sustainable development of rural industries in Runan,improving a diversified long-term protection system to prevent return to poverty and comprehensively consolidating the results of poverty eradication and rural revitalisation,with a view to serving as a reference for the work of consolidating and expanding the results of poverty eradication in other similar rural areas in China.
