Research On Consolidating Poverty Alleviation Achievements In Yunxi County, Hubei Province Under The Influence Of The COVID-19 Epidemi

The battle against poverty is a major action taken by the Chinese government to concentrate resources on all poverty alleviation targets within a specified time,and take unconventional measures to help them precisely,so as to lift them out of poverty.This kind of assistance has fundamentally improved the living environment and production conditions of the poor residents,and helped them to improve the speed of development and share the fruits of development through their own efforts and social assistance,while laying a solid foundation for the realization of rural revitalization.The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020 has had some negative impact on the poverty alleviation campaign in some parts of the country,but governments at all levels have overcome huge difficulties and finally achieved a comprehensive victory in the battle against poverty.In this context,it is of certain research value and practical significance to analyze and study the achievements of poverty alleviation in the context of COVID-19.This paper takes the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements in Yunxi County,Shiyan City,Hubei Province,and focuses on the impact and subsequent development of poverty alleviation achievements in Yunxi County during the COVID-19 epidemic.Analysis and discussion in the form of field research and literature analysis,The consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements in Yunxi County during the epidemic period was sorted out: First,the consolidation of industrial poverty alleviation achievements,The main problems are: sales blocked,production decline,poverty alleviation projects stagnation and other aspects;The second is the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements in tourism and e-commerce,Mainly manifested in the decline in the number of tourists,goods transportation blocked,increased operating costs and other aspects;Finally,the problems existing in the consolidation of poverty alleviation through employment and relocation from inhospitable areas,The main manifestations are: the resumption of work and production,the increase of unemployed groups,the prominent contradiction between relocated immigrants and local residents,and the phenomenon of relocated residents.The main causes of the problem are: the restrictions of objective conditions for epidemic prevention and control,changes in social work priorities,lax poverty alleviation work,and the severe economic situation of the epidemic,leading to a slowdown in the process of the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements.In view of the problems existing in the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements in Yunxi County under COVID-19 epidemic,this paper puts forward countermeasures:optimizing agriculture and forestry industry,promoting characteristic agricultural products planning,setting up public welfare posts in employment development,constructing incentive employment mechanism,integrating new and old residents,increasing income;others,constructing sustainable poverty alleviation system,and actively introducing social force participation.It is hoped that this study can provide development countermeasures and suggestions for Yunxi County to reduce the impact of the epidemic,consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation,and realize the subsequent rural revitalization work.
