| The essence of modernization is human modernization. In the new development period, the focus and difficulty of human modernization development lies in the famers. The modernization of small farmers is a key task for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization. At the same time, finance is the basic guarantee for economic development. As a further extension of the traditional concept of inclusive finance, digital inclusive finance has improved the accessibility of financial services by virtue of its own advantages, and makes important contributions to the development of the rural economy. In this context,it is of great practical significance to study the impact of digital inclusive finance on the modernization of small farmers. The article firstly sorts out the relevant theoretical research, and points out that organization is an ideal way for small farmers to realize modernization, and various types of agricultural management organizations provide sufficient development and profit space for small farmers’modernization transformation. And analyzed the direct and indirect impact of digital inclusive finance on the modernization transformation of small farmers from three aspects:the degree of small farmers’ social participation, income and financial needs. Then it summarizes the current development status of digital financial inclusion and the modernization of small farmers.Subsequently,in order to verify the conclusion of the theoretical analysis, the article conducts an empirical test based on the data of 2017 using the mediation effect regression model. The empirical results show that digital inclusive finance has a positive impact on the degree of social participation, income level and financial demand diversification of small farmers. At the same time,it can indirectly promote the modernization transformation of small farmers from the above three paths by improving the degree of organization of small farmers. The secondary sub-indices of the digital financial inclusion index are further introduced for regression. The results show that the increase in the degree of social participation of small farmers and the diversification of financial needs is mainly due to the increase in the coverage of digital financial inclusion, and the increase in small farmers’income mainly depends on digital Increased coverage and depth of financial inclusion. Then, according to the depth of use,the country is divided into developed regions and underdeveloped regions, and a sub-sample regression is performed. The regression results show that the positive impact of digital financial inclusion and its secondary sub-indices on the modernization transformation of small farmers is mainly significant in developed regions. In view of the results of theoretical analysis and empirical testing,in order to better play the supporting role of digital inclusive finance on the modernization transformation of small farmers, this paper puts forward policy suggestions from the following three aspects:the in-depth development of digital financial inclusion, the improvement of the allocation of financial resources in rural areas and the improvement of the degree of organization of small farmers. |
