Research On Financial Strategy Optimization Of IoT Enterprises Based On Sustainable Growth

With the release of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Digital Economy and other documents,the construction and development of the Internet of Things has entered a golden period,and the development of the Internet of Things industry has ushered in new opportunities.Internet of Things enterprises are capital-intensive and industry-oriented.In order to seek sustainable development in the ever-changing market competition and ensure the realization of the overall strategic goals,financial strategies that match the developm ent needs of enterprises need to be formulated.As the core of the company’s overall strategy,financial strategy not only needs to consider the financial strategy environment,but also needs to be constantly improved and dynamically optimized.The sustainable growth goal is based on the long term in the formulation of financial strategy and provides new thinking for the optimization of financial strategy,which is of great practical significance to the current and future development of enterprises.As an e merging industry,there are few Internet of Things enterprises as research objects.Therefore,sustainable growth-based research on Internet of Things enterprises’ financial strategy optimization is very important.In the research process,literature research method,case study method and quantitative analysis method are adopted to take BOE,a representative enterprise of the Internet of Things,as an example.Firstly,the environment of BOE’s financial strategy is sorted out from the external and internal aspects,and the implementation of BOE’s financial strategy is summarized from the investment strategy,financing strategy and dividend distribution strategy during 2018-2022.Secondly,the financial strategy of BOE is analyzed.The horizontal capital stat e of the matrix is established based on the theory of sustainable growth,and the vertical value state of the matrix is established based on the theory of value creation.The financial strategy matrix is constructed from these two dimensions,and the financial strategy of BOE is evaluated according to the performance of the financial strategy matrix.Find out the problems existing in BOE’s financial strategy and analyze the causes of the problems;Finally,corresponding to the existing problems and causes,put forward the financial strategy optimization countermeasures.The research results show that BOE should adopt an expansive financial strategy under the in-depth understanding of its internal and external financial strategic environment.However,BOE’s financial strategy implementation does not match its financial strategic environment,and its financial strategy needs to be optimized.According to the financial strategy matrix model constructed,BOE experienced value-added cash shortage in 2018 and 2021,impairment cash shortage in 2019 and 2020,and impairment cash surplus in 2022 in the middle of 2018-2022,with insufficient sustainable growth capacity and unstable value status,and failed to realize long-term value appreciation.The analysis shows that BOE’s investment strategy is expansion type,but its investment layout scattered cost increases,net profit performance is poor,resulting in the sustainable growth imbalance,sustainable growth ability is insufficient.The robust financing strategy is difficult to meet the capital demand and the leverage effect is insufficient.The cash dividend is relatively high,the dividend distribution plan does not match its fund status,and the cash dividend in the expansion situation aggravates the cash shortage.In this regard,the following optimization countermeasures are proposed: the development prospect of Internet of things enterprises is broad,the investment strategy maintains the expansion trend,focuses on the development of core business,invests in upstream and downstream enterprises to form the industrial chain layout to reduce costs,but the payback period is long,and the project investment evaluation mechanism should be improved to improve the input-output efficiency;The financing strategy of Internet of Things enterprises should be changed from stable to expansive,flexible and multi-channel financing.Assets securitization,accounts receivable factoring and other financing methods can be adopted to pay attention to financing efficiency and financi ng cost.As Internet of Things enterprises are in the period of rapid development,the dividend distribution strategy should adopt low dividend policy,zero dividend policy or low normal dividend plus extra dividend policy.Surplus dividend policy can be used to establish long-term target payout rate and dynamically adjust to match the enterprise development stage.This paper hopes to find out where BOE’s financial strategy needs to be optimized from the perspective of sustainable growth,actively solve the problems existing in BOE’s financial strategy,and propose countermeasures for financial strategy optimization,so as to improve the enterprise’s sustainable growth ability and realize value creation continuously,and provide reference for other similar e nterprises’ financial strategy optimization.
