| Against the background of global technological changes and the impact of the new crown epidemic,the aging population,manufacturing overcapacity and low GDP growth have become the development problems that the global manufacturing industry is facing.As the pillar economic industry of China,plays a vital role in national construction and social stability.how to maintain high-speed and high-quality development under the pressure of the changing global economic environment has become a research hotspot for China’s economic development.The fourth industrial revolution driven by information technology as the core has brought profound changes to the production and life of our people,and the deep coupling,intermingling and symbiosis between the new generation of information and communication technology and manufacturing industry is unstoppable,and how to use information technology services as an important grip to promote the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry is of great research significance.This paper firstly collects the literature related to information technology service and manufacturing high quality development at home and abroad,composes the connotation and theoretical basis of information technology service and manufacturing high quality development,discusses and analyzes the current situation and characteristics of China’s information technology service level and manufacturing high quality development level,and explores the related influence mechanism between them.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities(districts)in China from 2013 to 2020,this paper establishes a manufacturing high-quality development index system from four dimensions: scale efficiency,technological innovation,energy saving and environmental protection,and constructs a basic regression model,mechanism test model,threshold model and spatial spillover model to empirically analyze the impact of IT services on manufacturing high-quality development.It is found that :(1)China’s ICT export services are developing rapidly worldwide,and IT services with industrial Internet as an important tool have become a powerful driving force for manufacturing development.(2)the level of high-quality development of manufacturing industry in each region of China shows a rising trend year by year,but the development level and growth rate of different regions are different.The level of high-quality manufacturing development in the eastern region is generally higher than the development level in the central and western regions(3)Information technology services can not only directly and effectively promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,but also influence the high-quality development of manufacturing industry by promoting the transformation of factor structure and alleviating the degree of factor distortion.(4)The impact effect of information technology services shows non-linear characteristics.When the level of human capital and the intensity of capital investment cross the threshold,the positive effect of IT services on the high-quality development of manufacturing is more significant(5)There is a spatial spillover effect of information technology services,which not only affects the development of the local manufacturing industry,but also can synergistically affect the geographically adjacent surrounding areas.Previous researches mostly focus on the theoretical discussion of economic high quality and manufacturing high quality,and less research on the influence mechanism of information technology service enabled manufacturing high quality development.This paper constructs various regression models based on theoretical analysis of the impact mechanism of information technology services on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,empirically examines the impact effect and transmission path of information technology services on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and conducts an in-depth discussion on how information technology services can better empower the manufacturing industry,in order to provide useful ideas for the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry. |
