Research On The Influence Of Digital Economy On The Transformation And Upgrading Of China’s Industrial Structure

At present,the development of China’s economy has shifted from a stage of high-speed growth to high-quality development.It is in a critical period of transforming production methods,optimizing economic structure,transforming growth momentum,and promoting "dual circulation" development.In this context,how to effectively promote the industry Structural transformation and upgrading is the focus of the breakthrough period.The advent of the digital economy has made digital industrialization and industrial digitization thriving,reshaping and optimizing the factor allocation structure,improving the efficiency of factor resource utilization,and deriving new models and new formats.It has become an innovative driving force for the transformation and upgrading of my country’s industrial structure.First of all,this paper organizes and analyzes the relevant literature and theoretical basis of the digital economy and the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure,as well as the influence mechanism of the direct effect,mediation effect and nonlinear spillover effect of the digital economy on the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure.Secondly,this paper uses the entropy method to measure the development level of the digital economy from five aspects,uses the rationalization of the industrial structure and the heightened industrial structure to measure the level of industrial structure transformation and upgrading,and analyzes the measurement results.Then,using the provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020,this paper conducts a basic regression test of the impact of the digital economy on the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure,an intermediary test using factor marketization as an intermediary variable,and a regional heterogeneity test for the eastern,central and western regions.,Take the digital economy and factor marketization as the threshold variable nonlinear effect test and robustness test.Finally,according to the results of theoretical analysis and empirical research,relevant suggestions are put forward from five aspects.The results show that:(1)Digital economy plays a significant role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial structure.The measured results of the development level of digital economy and the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial structure show a decreasing trend in the eastern,central and western regions.(2)The mediating effect of factor marketization is obvious in the process of digital economy promoting the advanced industrial structure,while the mediating effect is not obvious in the process of digital economy promoting the rationalization of industrial structure.(3)The influence of digital economy on the rationalization of industrial structure is the strongest in central China,the second in eastern China and the weakest in western China.The influence of digital economy on the industrialization of industrial structure is the strongest in central China,the second in western China and the weakest in eastern China.(4)When digital economy and factor marketization are taken as threshold variables,digital economy has nonlinear spillover effects on industrial structure transformation and upgrading.Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical test results,This paper puts forward feasible suggestions from the aspects of constructing the digital economy foundation,expanding the degree of industrial integration,strengthening the market-oriented development of factors,overall planning regional strategic deployment and improving the digital economy governance system.
